Comfy room,

Cons:

The noise from the. Bloody smokers outside the main entrance. Air conditioning wasn't working throughout the hotel.. on a very warm day ! No toilet brush in bathroom. Spare towels were in wardrobe and this wasn't highlighted to us only enough for 1 person set out

Outdated, broken, needs cleaning and severe lack of management

The bed is comfortable, the pool and sauna is ok but very dated, and the hotel is situated in a good location

Cons:

The hotel air-conditioning has been broken for over a year, so the rooms were unbearable in the recent heat. The bathroom had small clumps of hair in corners on the floor and long hair against the wall within the shower, so cleaning is not monitored. The restaurant food used to be better, but recently the standard has dropped with the portions getting much smaller and prepared with less care. The hotel overall, especially the rooms, are very old and dated. The are no modern features such as USB charging ports in rooms, or TVs with HD resolution. For example, the information screen inside the lifts are broken, so you have no idea which floor you are at when it stops. Parking is a nightmare and sometimes one must park in-between the rubbish bins, yet the hotel still charges you for parking.

Details not attended to. An example was an old tray of room service food left by the lift. Told reception Twice about it on the third the manager begrudgingly removed it.

The hotel and the staff was fantastic unfortunately the bed let the stay down as my back has paid the price .

The location and staff were great

Cons:

We had to move rooms due to the shower plug not working and flooding the bathroom, then when we moved the next room did the same thing. We ended up improvising with lots of towels on the floor and putting the shower on low, but at over £100 a night we expected better
