Room was as you'd expect from a Holiday Inn, nothing spectacular, but perfectly comfortable with all the facilities you'd expect. Great location for visiting the old town. Breakfast was great. Parking fantastic for a city centre hotel.
The only slight criticism is the lack of power sockets by the bed. Not a deal breaker by any stretch, but would be nice to have.

The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was good with a wide variety. The hotel is very close to the centre. Plenty of spaces on the car park. Hotel was value for money.

Second time I have used HIHM by IHG. So glad the work being done on the main road is finished. It meant that access to the hotel was way easier. It was also quieter.
Proximity to the city centre is a key feature of this hotel.
Staff have been really positive and helpful on both of my visits.
Mattress on my bed was over soft, back was hurting this morning and I didn't sleep to good.

Room was of a good size and it was nice and quiet. Had everything i needed in the room, breakfast was plentiful with plenty of room to sit and seating outside as well which was nice.
Rooms definitely need an upgrade with the while sink tap moving when you used it. Bathroom is outdated and didn't like the shower curtain or the fact the light is the other side of it so it wasn't very bright. No granola for breakfast which was a shame but adequate other options.

The room needed an update - there were cracked tiles on the floor and obvious damage to the woodwork.
Location is great to access all areas of Hull. Air conditioning was a blessing in the heat. Staff were excellent - friendly and efficient across reception and the bar/breakfast team. Food, bar and parking was good.
The hotel felt a little tired in the decor. While clean, it could do with modernisation, especially in carpets and bathrooms. Shower was powerful but head mounted too low. Mattress could be updated.

Toilet was slow, weak to flush and not strong enough to flush in one go and would take forever to "reload" to flush again so spent half the stay with a used unflushed toilet so the smell wasn't great
