The room smelt foistey as though a hot shower had been used and the not dried/ aired.
The bins in the area around the ev charging were full to overflowing and rats were seen .

When you ring reception takes ages for staff to answer if you want anything like room service etc
Not much if I’m honest
Rubbish outside and in the car park saw a rat. Heard the doors being closed from adjacent rooms and people talking (not loudly) when they came back which kept both of us up until around 2am! Bed was extremely cheap and soft very uncomfortable. Room service / phones didn’t work and weren’t advised until after ordering food and wondering where it was, later arrived cold. Staff didn’t ask how our stay was when we left to tired to raise all the issues but will not be staying nor again nor recommend this property. I stay in hotels about 6-10 times a year and never had so many issues with the state of the place nor lack of sleep
Everything was good apart from the pool side for normal swim is very small, line swim has a lot more room
I had three small children who were very excited anyway! I stayed in room 124, which had an interlocking door, I had already had a really hard time explaining to the children that nobody was going to be coming through this door they didn't fully understand this.
One of the children has ADHD and apart from occasionally being loud and repetitive he manages ok, it was around 10pm and they were still laughing and joking being cleaned as on holiday with nana, and someone from room 126 banged very loudly on the interlocking door! Which frightened the children a lot, to the point of crying. Which then took me another hour and a half to settle them in bed.
I did think about going around and asking why they couldn't politely ask me to ask them to be quiet, but I did not want confrontation when clearly they were not bothered they had upset children. Not all children behave all the time and we had a night away because they don't live local to me, they were deeply upset by this.

Amazing staff on reception and bar, really nice location, plenty parking space, quick check in, pet friendly.
The room and the bathroom seemed clean but there was some rubbish left from the previous people who had it.
The staff were excellent. Very helpful, approachable and professional. On the Friday night there was a lady on reception / night duty who despite being very busy was excellent in her multi tasking. Will stay again.
There was nothing we didn't like. A positive experience and stay had.
