Too hot
Pros:

Bed was very comfy

Cons:

No air con, had a small unit that was extremely loud. Bathroom very outdated and shower was poor. Hardly any plug sockets and none next to the bed for charging your phone

Pros:

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Check in was easy and efficient, restaurant service in Marco's was excellent, room a good size with all facilities needed. Parking on site at extra cost but so close to Central MK Shopping.

An escape to the air con & pool
Pros:

Air con was great, which was the main purpose of my stay. Overall I thought my stay matched my expectations based on advertised photos/facilities. Easy walk from the train station, decent sized pool, comfy bed. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Cons:

An odd thing, but instead of a duvet I actually had a mattress topper in the sheet. I slept well, but it was odd.
Pool timings were also slightly off, I was told I would have to be out by 9:10pm rather than the 9:30pm that's on the schedule.
Neither of these impacted my overall stay!

Lauren.R saved the day by moving us to a room with working aircon!
Pros:

Great location, has a swimming pool and generally nice rooms! The staff were really friendly! Shout out to Lauren.R who helped us move rooms and was so lovely.

Cons:

Our aircon wasn’t working on the first night, in the heatwave, so it was a horrible night.
Also paying £15 a day for parking on top of the room does feel extremely steep, parking should be free for hotel guests.

Overall, okay.
Pros:

Reception acted quickly to give us another room when we realised we had not been given 2 single beds as booked.

Cons:

It's summer and it is hot. Room did not have a fridge. The sink did not drain well at all.

Really lovely and clean hotel
Pros:

Really lovely and clean hotel. Spotless rooms. Comfortable beds. Huge TV in room, with streaming services. Strong wifi.

Cons:

Staff were not that friendly, especially on check in. We were told to use the new tablets to check in, even though there wasn't a queue at reception, so it would have been polite to just check us in himself. We filled out everything on the tablet (asking for all the information we'd already given online), only for it not to work and we had to be manually checked in anyway. I think staff should always try and help where they can, rather than pushing customers to use technology. It was late at night and we just wanted to get to our room!

Good, comfortable stay in a pretty hotel
Pros:

Fantastic staff. Pretty entrance & atrium. The young man running the bar on Saturday evening was so professional. Very nice, smart, well appointed room with extremely comfortable beds. Very satisfying breakfast. Everything was tasty, fresh and beautifully presented. Staff were also so pleasant and helpful. You've done a great job hiring the right sort of people for hospitality.

Cons:

Parking arrangements need to be much clearer upfront. 15 minutes is just not enough time to get into the hotel, with luggage and a kid in tow, check in, get one's bearings and then figure out the hotel-side parking rules. I felt so rushed and being deaf, it takes me a little bit longer to process what's going on in new surroundings. I think if the 15 minutes can't be lengthened then the parking details need to be the very first thing check in staff talk about. It could have been even brought to my attention when I telephoned a few days earlier to confirm my booking. Maybe move the parking payment machine to the front desk area so it's immediately obvious? Also, £15 to park overnight is rather steep. The swimming pool is dirty - brown gunk all around on the tiles and the water was a bit murky. It needs a good scrub. The fabric chairs in the pool/gym reception area are disgustingly dirty - full of stains. I could only find 1 somewhat working locker in the women's changing room. It's all looking a bit rough and "tired" in that part of the premises. Our room was very good but there's dust in tucked away corners. The shower curtain has obvious mineral stains. Coffee/tea supply was very stingy - 4 tiny milk tubs? That's barely enough to whiten 1x cup of coffee. Our room phone was plugged in but it didn't connect to anywhere in the hotel.
