Exactly what I expected, a very pleasant stay
Pros:

Nice layout and grounds, parking good, breakfast was very nice

Cons:

So the only really oddity was having the air con unit behind the curtain under the window. It means it’s effectively pointless at night because the cool air gets trapped behind the curtain. I’m guessing the same happens with heating as well

It was nice and peaceful but small elements of inconvenience
Pros:

I liked the atmosphere, very calm, quite quiet - exactly what I needed for a peaceful getaway. Really liked the fact that I could connect my phone to the TV to watch youtube or netflix. Room was clean and spacious.

Cons:

I was really struggling to find the AC in the room. Considering the circumstance of the heatwave, I was expecting the receptionist to advice me where the AC in the room was located. I couldn't find it for a while until I realised it was hidden behind the table and chairs of the room. I also didn't opt for the room service as I found it a bit too inconvenience for me to pick up the order from a different section of a restaurant. Didn't want to walk outside my room in a restaurant full of people with my comfy pyjamas.

Great hotel, easy to find and park. Excellant staff, good food.
Pros:

Room was very clean and also very cool which was pleasing due to the heat. Breakfast and dinner very good.

Brilliant stay. Great breakfast.
Pros:

Staff were really friendly. Breakfast was brilliant and well worth the money- selection was brilliant, really varied, really tasty & buffet. Central location. Great outdoor space. Rooms are clean & spacious. Late check out too! Will def come again.

Cons:

Very limited cider selection at the bar. They had no draft cider either. Disappointing.

Excellent hotel in Farnborough
Pros:

I felt at home as soon as I parked up at the Holiday Inn. Booking in at Reception and the Bar! Everyone looked happy and engaging and seemed to enjoy working at the Holiday Inn.
The room was perfect. Clean, great lighting nice shower.

Cons:

Nothing. I had such an enjoyable one night stay!
