Soft bath sheets, safety handle and bath mat. Comfortable bed. Fridge in room.

Looks like the reception, bar area and restaurant have been recently modernised. It is lovely, very nicely decorated providing a great area to relax at the end of the day. Conveniently located for the A3 which was what we needed for our onward journey.
Room was ok but is in need of some modernisation, especially the bathroom. We had a fridge my parents fridge was missing. Just need updating.
Clean and comfortable
There is a qr code on the screen in the room to tell you all about the facilities. But what was represented there did not match the reality. The on the go cafe with Starbucks coffee is not available 24/7. When I pressed the button for room service I got through to reception who seemed clueless and weren't helpful. The hotel is too busy and the staff seemed to be under staffed and stressed.
Noise
Proximity to university. Clean, spacious, comfortable rooms. The staff were great. The food in the restaurant far exceeded my expectations in terms of choice and quality.
My room was on the ground floor close to reception so there was some noise from passing guests. Will ask for a quieter location next time I stay. Felt comfortable as a lone female traveller.
