The lobby was very spacious and the staff pleasant
I felt the room and hallways very tired looking. The carpets and room furniture had seen better days. No hairdryer in the room. Lighting far to dim to apply make up.

The executive room that I booked was very tired looking and the bathroom was terrible. The grouting made it look dirty and the sink hole was dingy. The toilet was very old looking as well. The shower had no guts either.
Very disappointed as you com to expect certain standards from holiday inn. The reception area is new looking, crisp and sharp and then you get to your room. Old and worn. Stained carpet, a sink that didn’t drain well and don’t be fooled by the listing of having a pool and hot tub. I have never seen such a small hot tub in a hotel (seats 2,3 is getting too close for comfort.)

The room was nice, clean, and comfortable; the staff were great and very helpful.
The bed was in my opinion too hard and I ended up having a bad sleep and a bad back, didn't like the way the beds were made as in duvets tucked under the mattress very annoying, cashless bar not good so sorry to say that I won't be staying again.

The room was nice and cold and so much room to move about and explore had the best sleep of my life
Lovely grounds. lovely staff, very comfortable bed and spacious room. Also we like to sleep with our bedroom window open, so it was a lovely surprise to see we could open the window, with the reassurance that no one could try to get get in as it had a safety lock system. The let down was the bathroom. Very tired and some obvious dirty marks that would take nothing to remove, and two tiles were hanging off below the bath panel. That being said, we will be staying here again as our son has recently moved to Guildford and the location is ideal for his new house.

The hotel is lovely inside, very clean and welcoming. Our room was also very clean and comfortable, air-conditioning with the option of heating is excellent. Bed was comfortable, pillows less so but that is always personal preference! The food in the restaurant is excellent, i personally didn't have breakfast but my husband enjoyed breakfast! We would definitely stay here again! For us, the location was ideal as I had a medical appointment
No frappachinos in the on site Starbucks 😭 not a major disaster but would be fantastic if they could be on the menu - but seriously we actually had no complaints, everything was great
