It is very close to daiba station and not in the chaos of Tokyo city like Shinjuku. We come to Japan often, so it was nice to be away and still be in Tokyo.

Cons:

When we checked in, we were put off by the rudest hostess at check in. Usually you are greeted with hello in any culture, this lady asked for my passport immediately. And the. After seeing my US passport, asks me “so do you speak English?”.

Her tone, demeanor and attitude with my son was condescending. She couldn’t answer my questions about membership correctly, so I actually had to ask another American staying at the hotel who was in line with me for the answer. I would never have wanted to stay here at Grand Nikko if I had not already had the greatest experience at Grand Nikko Mahaima.

Appalled that someone like her would work at a hotel or with customer service.

Pleasant stay.
Pros:

Location is good, easy to find and pretty close to the city. Large room and very clean. Great Teppanyaki restaurant with amazing view of Rainbow Bridge and the city. Very friendly chief cooks in front of you.

Cons:

Very strict rules. Again it could be everywhere in Japan.

Perfect hotel, would definitely stay there again.
Pros:

Location was perfect for the end of our cruise from Tokyo International Cruise Terminal, only about 1km walk. Easy walk to the train to get to the city. Had a snack in the cafe and it was lovely.

Can't think of anything.

Sehr gutes Hotel, gute Anbindung durch eine S-Bahn.

Die Zimmer sin groß, die Betten sehr bequem. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, im Restaurant war es aber sehr voll.

Cons:

Wir hatten ein Zimmer laut booking.com mit "Dusche oder Badewanne" gebucht. An der Rezeption wurde uns gesagt, dass ein Zimmer mit Dusche mehr kostet. Das war auf der Seite von booking.com so nicht zu erkennen. Da wir uns nicht in der Badewanne duschen wollten, haben wir den Mehrpreis bezahlt, booking .com sollte aber seine Internetseite überarbeiten !
