The staff was welcoming. The food was good but expensive.
The reason I booked this hotel was for the bowling and arcade. My son’s whole baseball team booked this hotel based on my recommendation. I paid over $600 for two nights and neither the bowling OR
Arcade were functional.
Der sehr freundliche Empfang
Amazing. Staff catered to dietary needs very pleasing
Parking
I'd like the amenities/rec room although it was a bit run down. Could use a refresh. The pool was good. I was surprised no hot tub.
I didn't like the night shift front desk person. He wasn't friendly at all. We had issues with payment.
He didn't tell us about the free breakfast. Just shoved the card at me. And said my coupons were in there. I was too tired to ask. By the time payment went through we just wanted to get to our room.
He wouldn't give me his real name when I asked. Just said people called him HP. Very unprofessional.
Room had everything I needed. It was clean and the common areas in the hotel were comfortable.
The doors closed loudly and you could hear people in hallway more than at other places I have stayed.
The parking was OK. Unfortunate that it was in a different building than the hotel. The hallways were a bit of a maze but figured it out quickly.
Bad

Location was perfect. Space was very clean
Smaller rooms and thin walls and ceiling. I heard all the running and walking outside and above my room.
Room was great.

Easy check in.
I dont know where to start, immediately we parked and realized we had to carry our luggage from the parking garage to the entrance as many vehicles were entering at the front door incorrectly. Not to mention this is an uphill walk with 3 suitcases and a child. Once we checked in we were told that there were breakfast vouchers that had to be brought to breakfast with us - 3 people staying, 2 adults, 1 child. So this meant breakfast was only included for 2 out of the 3 of us staying (unacceptable, as my booking stated breakfast included!) We got to our room - i can only describe it as a shoe box, this was the third hotel we stayed at in the month of april for 4 nights and the smallest but most expensive. 3 people on the listing, room equipped with only 2 towels. Ironing board would open but not close after use. Bedtime arrived, the room was a sauna - advised by staff that air conditioning was broken..... tried to sleep. 1st night - yelling, shouting and screaming outside our window on the second floor basically all night long - wake up head to breakfast - not allowed to return to room to eat my breakfast that again only 1 adult could attend as my daughter required someone to watch her as she had no breakfast ticket. Day 2 - went to the basement to play mini golf and bowling, no clubs or golf balls to be found - sign says ask attendant - no one was around like a ghost town. Night 2 - screaming again all night long outside. Day 3 - alternated adult for breakfast asked hotel staff for more towels while we went down to the pool, returned from the pool - still no towels - notified hotel staff a second time and was told id have to wait as they were downstairs - okay no problem - brings me 2 towels again 3 people in the room - then hotel staff explained that because she had brought me towels i had to dial *62 on the phone in the room because this is her job and she serviced the room so i have to do - like WHAT!
Place was good, only compliant was door lock makes door hard to open
Your retrofit of power lock this was overlooked, yes lock opens but door is hard to open.

"I had a fantastic stay at the Crowne Plaza Kitchener-Waterloo! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of downtown and within walking distance of some great local restaurants and shops.
The room was spotless, modern, and surprisingly quiet for being downtown. I have to give a special shout-out to the beds; they were incredibly comfortable and made for a great night's sleep.
A major highlight was the breakfast at the Aqua Lounge—the omelette station is a must-try! We also spent some time at the bowling alley and pool, which were great perks that you don't usually find in a city hotel. Every staff member we encountered was professional, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.
Whether you're here for business or with family, this is easily one of the best places to stay in the KW area. I'll definitely be back!"
