The staff were helpful. The bed was comfortable. The room could use a a good spring cleaning.
Pros:

Good location. Close to the harbor.

Cons:

The bathroom could use an update. The screen on the bathroom window was very filthy. There were spots on the walls that may have come from bugs.

Motel 6 is nicer

The air conditioning worked and bed was comfortable.

Cons:

Besides bugs, I was standing in front of two front desk workers for 5 minutes before they acknowledged my existence. I know manners aren't a big thing anymore but i would think a hello at a hotel would be a fair expectation? My room had two different kinds of bugs. Gnats of some kind and rollie polies in the bathroom. The rest of property has fallen into great disrepair. Stained furniture all over lobby. Even things that dont require money to fix were in a bad state. Lights along paths covered in bird feces. Something is wrong with roof and they have covers flapping in the wind. Paid high end price and camping would have been nicer. Sandwich at restaurant was great though!

Awesome visit. I will be back.
Pros:

Buffett breakfast sausage was the best I have ever had. Location at the harbor was awesome.

Cons:

Toilet paper was cheap, not expecting that in this class of hotel. Also asked for room service and all they did was to stack more towels and empty trash. No making beds or cleaning g the bathroom and removing old towels. That was disappointing.

It worked.
Pros:

Location was great for jumping to the Channel Islands. Walkable to the harbor, easy to navigate to and from 101. The area was quiet. Parking was easy.

Cons:

The bathroom was a little on the worn side, not outright bad, but just not great. Water pressure on the sink was too high, spraying all over the counter. But the pressure ont he shower was too low and the brain was excessively slow. There was no door to the washroom, only to the shiwer/toilet area. Also, there was no general lighting in the room, only lamps so the main area was not well lit. There was only one tiny trash can which proved irritating.

Pros:

Location was nice

Cons:

Very dated. My carpet was very wet in a couple of spots. I couldn't tell if the furniture downstairs in the lobby in my room everywhere I went. It's just old and dingy or not clean.

Pros:

Good location . Nice pool Jacuzzi area.

Cons:

not crazy about the breakfast options. The brunch items were didn’t appear to be very fresh except for the as you order omelette.
