We had a good experience staying at the hotel! Walter was the highlight of our stay and gave amazing service. Definitely do the Pisco Sour demonstration at the bar!
Location, staff, rooms
A bit pricy
Probably one of the best hotels in Peru. From the point when you arrive until the point when you leave, the service is superb. We stayed twice; before and after our 4 day journey through the Sacred Valley and to Machu Picchu. At macju Picchu one of the waist straps on my backpack broke and when I arrived back at the hotel, the concierge without fuss arranged for it to be fully stitched up and properly so. Service at breakfast room and dinner in the restaurant was fantastic. The food was of high quality. The rooms are a little bit on the small side and the beds a bit soft, but very comfortable and the rooms are beautifully appointed. Appointed. I also did the hotel tour with an Inca dance and music number, was not listed as part of the tour and was a real surprise at. It was a lot of fun. Highly recommend.
The hotel is a museum in itself. I strongly recommend the tour offered by the establishment which helps us understand its history and the artworks that can be seen everywhere. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If the varied buffet offered at breakfast doesn’t satisfy your needs, you can always choose à la carte.
The hotel is only a few blocks from Plaza de Armes and walking distance from many attractions. Overall an amazing experience!
Exceptional service, great location, excellent breakfast, beautiful historic property. Don’t miss the hotel tour and pisco sour lesson!
From the moment we arrived, the hotel felt incredibly welcoming. The concierge team went above and beyond during check-in, inviting us to sit and relax while they handled everything seamlessly. They took the time to walk us through Cusco using a map, highlighting key spots and explaining hotel activities for our stay.
The bell staff were just as impressive: quick, efficient, and very attentive with our bags. Overall, the service was smooth, thoughtful, and amazing
The hotel benefits from its location and outstanding history. Its decor is beautiful and staff friendly enough. Beds were very comfortable. Food was well presented and good choices.
Extra charges for everything. Advertised as including breakfast yet had to pay a large extra fee even for day I didn’t eat breakfast. Hotel advertised a pool but this is a separate spa again charging a fortune so not a true benefit to hotel guests. Room was a lot smaller than others we’ve stayed in Peru and in Cusco. Typical Marriott hotel busy in communal areas and impersonal feel.
Rooms are not laid out well, no chargers near bed, only one bedside cabinet for two people which was already crowded with hotel items.
Not a fan of shower over bath either.
Room was very dark without lighting and a little stuffy.
This hotel not only is it beautiful with its attention to detail for their interior design but their customer service is top notch! The entire staff from the door man, concierge, and restaurant were absolutely amazing. I came for my engagement and birthday and they even sent a sweet gift! Thank you for making our stay memorable! Highly recommend d
Great location for walking to the main square in Cusco. A special treat was the hotel courtyard had alpacas walking around that we could take pictures of and pet. The vendors who were selling had nice alpaca made things. The breakfast was very good with lots to choose from.
We stayed in this hotel thanks to a booking from SA Travel. We had the privilege of staying three different nights over two stays. From the time the staff met us at the front door, to the time we left, every whim was catered to. Every staff person was smiling, helpful, and kind. The tour of the hotel with Emerson was amazing. The class on Pisco sour in the was super fun! The variety and quality of the food at the breakfast was superior. Paola and the Front desk staff were eager to help with anything they possibly could to make us comfortable. The manager on duty when we left was Diego, but the entire staff was amazing! If you have a chance to go to Cusco, which I would highly recommend, the Palacio Del Inka, for me, would be a non-negotiable stay. This amazing place helped to make our vacation one of the best of our life.
Historic hotel with fantastic service and a delicious breakfast (both buffet and prepared options are available). The extra special moments include the hotel tour, pisco class at the bar, Incan music, baby alpacas, hot tea in the lobby, and helpful staff.
Comfortable room.
Great food and competent and helpful staff.
