Would not stay here again.
Pros:

Check-in was easy and the room was a good size.

Cons:

The bathroom shower screen was not sturdy and caused a lot of water to spill out on to the bathroom floor. The shower water was cold. and the room itself was very cold.

Pros:

The main areas, reception and dinning room were exceptable and were up to date.

Cons:

Our bathroom had mould all around the bath, a damaged ceiling. Was in a DESPERATE need of-modernisation. It was shabby. The bed was incredible uncomfortable, every time my husband moved I knew about it. The switches on the wall lights needed a clean, finger prints from other people on them. The net curtain didn’t cover the whole window!

Good location but no reason to stay unless you’re booked into a conference. Not really a couple destination.
Pros:

Location was good on the periphery of the city with good links in.

Cons:

The “new” part of the property is a bit dated. The facilities are to the expected standard for a 4*. Better value for money at the premier inn I stayed at the night before.

We stay here often and it’s generally quiet and peaceful
Pros:

We often stay here, it’s on the outskirts and close to poppleton park and ride for busy York weeks, also close to the cheapest Ev charging points which is Tescos and the near by gym .. food always good quality and breakfast has a decent amount of choice

Cons:

Think it would be nice to see some small updates like Ev charging points and plug changes in the rooms to include modern day charging facilities ..

Beautiful beautiful beautiful
Pros:

I booked the hotel as part of my birthday weekend with my wife.When we 1st arrived,we couldn't believe how beautiful the hotel looked.The young lady at the desk was really friendly and made us feel really welcome.My big surprise was when we opened our room door to find bottles of beer in an ice bucket along with a very heart warming birthday card and gift from all the staff at the hotel plus all my helium balloons.Your staff went above and beyond their duties to make our weekend as special as it could be.Your staff are an absolute credit to the company.
We will definitely be back after the new year.

Pros:

Super comfy bed, room was clean and spacious. Very close to city centre. Staff are very helpful. Great value as it was a Sunday stay too. Thank you for the great coffee.

Great location for see York
Pros:

Good position for using park and ride getting into York. Lovely staff. Pleasant hotel open and friendly

Cons:

The room was a bit tired - cracked bathroom sink - creased net curtains - bed and bit hard. These small things didnt spoil our stay though. We would stay again - very reasonable prices.

Pros:

Room was spacious, comfortable and had all amenities required as stated. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice. Cooked breakfast was fresh and hot. Very comfortable bed. Hotel was in a good location for access to York. Just a 17 minute walk to the park and ride with a frequent service and last return bus at 22.30.

Cons:

Nothing that I can think of.

Stayed previously without issues. Would use hotel again, hope our problems this time were one-off.
Cons:

1. Wifi did not work in the room (tried 4 devices)
2. Floor tiles in bathroom not fixed down, treading on them caused fluid to ooze out.
3. Bathroom fan operates but VERY little or NO damp air is extracted misted mirror remains misted. As a result it smells damp and smell spreads to room if door left open.
4. Had to have a door key reprogrammed several times, never kept near phone.
5. Reported all above on departure, would have expected some comment/respose.
