The stay was average. It did what we needed it to do.
Pros:

Location was good apart from you can hear lita of cars as it’s by a busy main road. Had to have window open as it was hot. Didn’t have breakfast there but seemed busy.
Bed were huge and quite comfy. Staff were all nice and friendly

Cons:

It’s abit out dated, our room needed updated and painted. We only were given 1 towel for bathroom. Limited tea coffee and not enough milk for the mornings.

Overnight In Norwich
Pros:

Location was good and so was parking. Breakfast plentiful.

Cons:

They only have Pepsi Max in the bar. We hate diet drinks, why would you limit options to only diet! We didn't for drinks because of this.

A lovely break.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent, a great selection of hit and cold. Everything refilled quickly.

Cons:

The only problem I had with my room was the toilet. It sometimes took 12 or more pumps to flush. The staff did what they could but I think it needed a plumber to sort it out.

Felt comfortable staying there
Pros:

Staff were so friendly and helped with anything you needed. Breakfast had a good selection and loads to choose from.
Everything was clean inside.

Cons:

The property was very dated. The building on the outside looked worse for wear. Mitch match carpet in places. Dirty windows and paint flaking.

Great stay
Pros:

I recently stayed at the Mercure Hotel Norwich and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and provided everything needed for a relaxing stay.

What really stood out was the exceptional customer service from the staff. A special mention goes to Cath on reception, who was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my visit. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and her warm, professional manner made a real difference to my stay.

It's always the people who make a hotel memorable, and Cath is a fantastic ambassador for the Mercure. Thank you to her and the whole team for such a pleasant experience. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend the hotel to others visiting Norwich.
