Important information:

Please note that, in the case of cash payments, guests may pay in Peruvian soles or in US dollars (according to the property’s exchange rate on the day of payment).

In accordance with local tax regulations, Peruvian citizens (and foreign guests staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional 18% tax. To be exempt from this additional charge (IGV), guests must present a copy of their immigration card and passport. Both documents are required to qualify for the exemption. If either document is not presented, the corresponding tax must be paid.

Foreign guests traveling for business who request a printed invoice must also pay this additional 18%, regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This amount is not automatically included in the total reservation cost.

Children:

Children aged 4 to 11 stay free of charge when sharing a bed with one or two adults; they are only required to pay for breakfast.

Pets:

Guests may stay with their dog (pet), provided they comply with the admission policies. An additional fee of USD 38 per pet per night applies (taxes not included). Only one pet per room is allowed. Reservations must be requested at least 2 days in advance.

Only pets weighing up to 18 kg are permitted. At check-in, guests must present certificates issued by a licensed veterinarian (or competent authority) confirming that the pet has been vaccinated and dewormed within the last 6 months.

In accordance with Peruvian law, potentially dangerous breeds such as American Pitbull, Dogo, Rottweiler, Doberman, among others, are not allowed. Only dogs are permitted, and food and water bowls are available on loan.

For guide dogs, guests must present a certificate issued by CONADIS (or the relevant authority) confirming the need for assistance. If this certification is not provided, the corresponding pet fee will apply.

Pets may not be left alone in the room.

Beautiful Hotel, but the Staff Makes It Exceptional

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Wyndham Costa del Sol in Arequipa. The hotel itself is beautiful, comfortable, and incredibly well maintained, but what truly sets this place apart is the staff.

From the moment I arrived, every person I interacted with was friendly, respectful, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Everyone I encountered spoke English, which made communication very easy, and there was always a positive attitude and a smile. You can tell that providing great service isn’t just something they do here—it’s part of the culture.

I especially want to recognize Erika at the front desk. She was absolutely fantastic! Erika went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and taken care of throughout my stay. She was always friendly, helpful, and professional, and she is exactly the kind of person who leaves a lasting impression on a guest.

Arequipa is an incredibly beautiful city, and staying at the Wyndham Costa del Sol made my experience there even better. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend this hotel without hesitation to anyone visiting Arequipa.

Thank you to Erika and the entire staff for making my stay such a memorable one. Five stars without question!

Very good hotel. Needs some tweaks.
Pros:

Very comfortable and spacious bedroom. Bed was excellent. Very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast had a very good selection and of a high standard.

Cons:

Shower water pressure was very underwhelming. Check in was slightly slow and clunky. Bar closed at 10pm. Seemed very early for a hotel of this standard so could only get water after then.

El personal fue muy atento y amable, tienen todas las comodidades no solo para los papás sino tambien para los pequeños, tienen un amplio jardín con juegos para niños, animalitos, menú kids, juegos en la computadora, espacios amplios y cómodos para disfrutar del descanso en el hotel, habitaciones amplias y cómodas

Solo dos cosas mejoraria: Deben renovar la piscina, es muy amplia pero las baldosas son antiguas y no esta temperada, entonces tienes a todos loa huéspedes afuera disfrutando de un bonito sol pero sin poder usar la piscina porque el agua esta muy fría. Y lo otro, es que los televisores no podia conectarlos con YouTube o Netflix, y me limita a la mala programación que tiene DirectTV.

This is a beautiful hotel. We were a family of 5 and loved the facilities, which meant we spent quite a bit of time in the hotel. The grounds are lovely - the alpacas and tortoise are a novelty. Breakfast was great, very varied and delicious.
