I like the Hilton because it’s easy walking distance to the spectrum center & football stadium. Local restaurants.
No microwaves in the rooms & only one microwave in a small room near the front desk.

My stay at the Hilton Charlotte Uptown was an overall excellent stay. Even thought the rooms were a pretty “basic”, they were very clean. From front desk reception to the hotel maids to the valets and bell hops, everyone was kind, welcoming and polite. In particular, the crew that held our luggage the morning we had to check out, were super friendly and so very helpful! Shout out to Armaand, Rease and Alijah - they were SO busy, yet still treated us with kindness and respect.
Outstanding! Everything was 10/10 and the hospitality was out of this world! Valet was on top of it at all times.
The hotel is spotless and the staff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. The bed was quite comfortable and the room was spacious. I had a chicken sandwich at the hotel restaurant and it was delicious.
There is one thing that I would change. We were in a room that adjoins another room. The door was locked, but it is evidently paper thin. We were talking in a normal (indoor) tone and volume when a neighbor came to the entry door in the hallway and asked us to be quieter as they could hear our entire conversation through the door between the rooms.

Just fine, but expected much better.
We had a great experience right off the bat. Essy was our valet when we arrived and when we left. He was very pleasant and helpful. Dorothy checked us in and made sure we had all the informations we needed for our stay. Both Essy and Dorothy were very professional and a credit to Hilton. We spent some time in the bar before the concert at the Knight Theater we were in town to see. Daniel, the bartender, was so friendly we stopped in again after the concert for late nite snacks….highly recommend the Blue cheese chips! The hotel is centrally located so we were able to walk to everything we wanted to do. We always try to stay at Hilton properties when we travel and I have to say this was one of the best Hilton experiences we had…..the hotel is beautiful and in a great location but the people working here make the experience even better.
