I was there for one night; it was pleasant and I slept well.
Pros:

Convenience to airport, cleanliness, quiet.

Cons:

I would have liked to order breakfast items a la carte, as getting scrambled eggs, if I recall, also meant getting sausage and/or bacon, ham, or other items I don't eat.

Convenient comfortable pleasant
Pros:

We did not get breakfast as our departure was too early room was comfortable desk clerk pleasant.
Dinner was good and acceptable price

Cons:

Pool was very cold. “Gym” was minimal at best
We were told that coffee would be available before we left in the morning but it was not

Overall good choice
Pros:

Everything was great except the first front desk member when asked for a couple of extra coffees basically said well I’ll tell someone to bring you some. When after coming back from dinner (still not getting anything) another front desk manager now working when asked said sure and literally went behind the desk as grabbed a couple a face to use and said if there is anything else we need please let her know. Wow, what a contrast!!! Recommend a bit of training for the first guy for sure.

Cons:

I liked the place although first room they have smelled seriously like smoke.

Cons:

My first room smelled like cigarettes. Smoke detectors were covered with plastic bags and a bottle of water was opened and refilled. All this was by previous guest but makes you wonder who cleaned this room after and why did they give us a room in these conditions. They did change our room, however, my experience was already ruined.

Terrible place! This property and the rooms are suffering from long term neglect. I would never stay here again and my co workers are sharing my experience in different rooms. If Hilton can not take care of a property they do not deserve my business

Pros:

Apparently this is a franchise location but an embarrassment to the Hilton name. The place was filthy and in dire need of repair. Looks like no one vacuumed the lobby, elevators or hallways in weeks (I hope it wasn't really that long). The room was cleaner but not clean and had calking chipping onto the carpet, frayed rug by the door to the room and things pealing from the ceiling. Come on Hilton, don't you do inspections.

It wasn't what we expected of a Hilton Garden Inn, though the front manager tried to make it right.
Pros:

Location was nice. Lobby looks nice. Room looked nice.

Cons:

The tub didn't drain for our showers. I nearly slipped in it because there's no non-slip surface and it had a couple of inches of water in it. TV remote didn't work well. Hallway carpeting looked dingy and dated.

A nightmare of poor lighting and broken electrical outlets!
Pros:

Bed was comfortable; location excellent; shuttle service from Albany Airport was good.

Cons:

Lighting in both the room and the bathroom was horrible. There was an unplugged lamp in the corner not within reach of any working outlet. Only one of the two night tables had a light and it was just a spot light, which didn't add light to the room. Most electrical outlets were broken and hazardous. There was only one working USB port. The deferred maintenance in this room was unimaginable. The only source of light in the bathroom came from two wall sconces, thus there was no light close to the mirror.
