Highly recommend the Bonaventure
Pros:

The staff are approachable , friendly and professional . The pool and gardens are a delight . The bed was comfortable and room was relaxing . Breakfast was hearty and well organized .

Cons:

That I had to leave the property to return to Toronto 🥲

Good location but disappointing stay given the price.
Pros:

Beautiful to look at inside, rooms were a good size.

Cons:

The hotel felt tired in places and could do with some renovation. Pool was excessively busy. On our second day our room smelt of cigarette smoke which seemed to be coming through the air conditioning unit. It was very unpleasant so we raised this with reception who moved us to another room which was not as nice (view of car park). The staff did not seem bothered by this, did not apologise or give any explanation, were quite off hand. Was annoying to have to pack everything up to move and response from staff was disappointing.

A ton of fun! I’m glad we picked this place.
Pros:

It’s lovely to look at- an unusual building with lots of places to sit and relax.

Cons:

It’s hard to get around but once you learn the layout it’s fine

La bienveillance des employés et la qualité des lieux ont fait en sorte que notre séjour fut fort agréable.
Pros:

C’est comme si vous étiez dans un resort avec les aménagements paysagers et les bassins d’eau qui vous mènent vers la piscine. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables.
