Room was ok, but our ocean view room wasn't what I thought it would be

Unhelpful front desk man, but the front desk lady saved the day!

Delivered food here and had an incorrect room number from the customer. The front desk man was incredibly unhelpful, gave me attitude, and refused to look up the guests name to contact them. Fortunately, he got busy in a phone call right in front of me and the lady working the front desk stepped in to help. She was extremely sweet, contacted the customer immediately. One staff member was 1/5, the other 5/5. Average to a three.

Location to beach and local restaurants was great. Grounds, parking area clean and attractive. Entrance and lobby, lounge area spacious and appealing. Room was exceptionally clean looking and smelling. Bed and pillows very comfortable. A/C unit made excessive noise and kept me from sleeping heavily. Kendal was very polite, helpful and friendly. Pool area was awesome, especially the adult beverage shack! Breakfast was abundant but not very tasty as is the case for most free breakfast. Overall I was highly impressed and satisfied.

Easy access to beach

Coffee and the breakfast was ok.

I was a little nervous about this stay before arriving. When I called with questions prior to our trip, the staff didn't seem particularly friendly, and messages I sent through the website went unanswered. Thankfully, once we arrived, our experience was completely different.

The gentleman who checked us in was extremely friendly and even honored my request for a higher floor. We stayed in Room 817, which had a beautiful ocean view and was exceptionally clean. The entire hotel, including the lobby, was clean, welcoming, and well-maintained.

One of the things we loved most was the location. The beach was an easy walk using the pathway behind the hotel, and numerous restaurants, shops, and attractions were within walking distance. We rarely had to use our car.

The bed was very comfortable, housekeeping did an excellent job throughout our stay, and the hotel was surprisingly quiet. While I could occasionally hear people passing in the hallway, I never heard noise through the walls from neighboring rooms.

The complimentary breakfast offered a good variety, including eggs, sausage or bacon, waffles, pastries, breads, juice, and coffee. Parking is not included in the room rate, but the parking lot is conveniently located on-site.

A nice bonus was the beach chair and umbrella rental service. I ordered two lounge chairs and an umbrella, the charge was added to my card, and everything was already set up and waiting for us on the beach when we arrived.

Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations and provided a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable stay. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Cocoa Beach.

The free breakfast and access to the beach

Decently sized room with a pullout sofa and a very large clean bed. TV had a fair amount of streaming services. Ocean view was nice. Bathroom was clean and there were plenty of bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths. Free parking was great. I didn’t try out the pool, but it looked decent.

Great location & nice rooms - checking & parking left a bad impression.
The guy checking us in could have cared less about his job & the customers. We had to ask about park, found out the lot is “under construction” told to park next door at the Courtyard- no direction on how to get there or if there is a certain area- charged $15!!!!! Why was I charged to park when I had to walk from next doors hotel? Never once was I recognized as an Honors member. The lady at the desk in the evening was super friendly - she needs to be there for check in.
Breakfast was plentiful with a nice variety. There are 2 big rooms to eat in.

The location of the Hampton is very convenient and located right off the main highway that runs the length of Cocoa Beach. The atmosphere is very laid back and quiet, I never once felt overwhelmed by crowds or noise. The room that we ordered was spacious and quiet, and had an excellent balcony view of the beach. Value wise I do think it was a little more expensive than it should have been. The lobby, commissary and rooms were very clean. Service was good, there were plentiful breakfast items available, and staff were always prompt with delivery of any extra items we may have needed. The private beach was the largest plus, as it never felt crowded even at peak times and we were able to secure umbrellas and chairs with ease. However, I do feel that the cost of the umbrellas and chairs were somewhat ridiculous and should have been included with cost of the room itself versus being a separate payment. The bathroom needed some updating to the fixtures, specifically the shower, which seemed loose and was always a bit random where the hot and cold water temps switched. I might also recommend a second foot-wash station at the second gate entrance/exit to the beach as our feet were in desperate need of cleaning after the sandy walk back from the beach. We did not use the pool. I might also recommend some form of power plug on the balcony and slightly more comfortable chairs and a higher table, as I would have liked to have used my laptop while sitting outside without needed to worry about battery power.
