Communication was superb, Andrew sent me several texts to see how my stays are going. He made me feel very special. Location was good; not too far from Swamp Rabbit trail, and coffee shops, restaurants and other retail stores are near by. Fairly quiet at night and we got a good sleep.
Bathroom can be updated. There are noticeable stains on the corner, and air bent over shower defiantly need attention . Also, I felt the room door was too thin; I could hear people walking by and shutting the doors. Fortunately no loud customers at the time we started.
Ubicación, limpieza.
The property was clean and comfortable. The staff we interacted with was great. Both Jessica and Andrew were extremely pleasant, welcoming and attentive.
Nothing comes to mind
Very welcoming staff. Easy to locate, plenty of parking,
Close to walking trail and walkable to to downtown restaurants and shops.
Hotel is very clean and well maintained.
Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms spotless, and even had a bidet. Breakfast the first day was somewhat disappointing, eggs were cold and very little left, no bagels left or not replenished etc but the subsequent two mornings were very good.
Only thing was the first morning breakfast experience was disappointing and this was about an hour before it closed.
Location
Travelers Rest is always a fun town, and when I take my bike on a work trip it is even better.
Swamp Rabbit trail is right out the front door, literally walk across the street and theres the trail.
Newly updated to bright modern rooms.
This is also the 1st Hampton Inn Ive ever stayed at in 20+ years on the road that had a bidet.
Bidet toilet didn’t work due to GCFI outlet broken. Lamp shades were smashed and broken and just barely hanging on on one side of bed. There was a huge grouping of cords/wires where the phone was. Definitely not what I would expect when paying $260/night.
Nice
Attention to room detail was lacking
This Hampton Inn location was in close proximity to Table Rock which was my destination for hiking.
This Hampton Inn location is in serious need of a facelift. The hotel looks worn down from years of use and they really should put some money back into the aesthetics. The cleanliness could have been better, but it was marginally acceptable. Other than at checkin, the staff were no so friendly. They also charged some sort of Marketing Fee to the reservation, so it was roughly $5 more than I signed up for on Booking.com. Not thrilled about it but was ready to get out of there. Breakfast was ok, but no protein (bacon, sausage) served with the eggs…
Good
Refrigerator Broken should have back ups on site that hotelnataff could just plug in then let maintenance look at it later
This is very close to Furman U and convenient of you are needing to go to campus BUT LOTS of improvement needed. I checked in online and got the digital key but it would not work. The bathroom sink stopper has to be pried out by your fingernails - no way to move it up and down. The shower is perhaps the smallest hotel shower I have ever used. No room to turn around. I asked for a late check out and was told “check out on the weekends is 11am.” My son ran on the trail and walked back into the hotel at 10am - literally my phone said 10am. I asked him if he wanted a banana in front of the breakfast lady and she looked at us and said breakfast for guests ends at 10am and after that it’s employees only. I literally wanted to grab a banana - and she heard me ask my son. Thus, this will be our first and last visit - Too many other options in Greenville. I would think this hotel would try to set itself apart, but obviously not.
Clean. Goid location for us
Location to Travelers Rest town
Not clean. Carpets needed to be vacuumed in hallways and stairways were just not clean. Hotel needs renovation that could be solved with new paint
