Typical Hampton inn with a clean sleeping room and pleasant staff.
Dining area was very dirty. Furniture was stained, not enough tables that were clean and messy construction happening next door. I believe we paid too much for this hotel compared to most Hampton Inns.

the smell you walked in and the musty moldy smell just knocks you in the face - replace the carpet with laminate to eliminate that smell
Despite the hotel needing to be renovated (starting next month), the staff are ALWAYS very helpful. You feel like you are coming home to a family - cookies and all!
I have ALWAYS stayed at this hotel when we visit Mt. Dora 2-3 times a year. They are about to start their renovations, so they know they need to upgrade their hotel. My concern was with the hot breakfast which is ALWAYS a part of the stay and included in the price. Apparently, the kitchen staff had un unexpected emergency, so no real breakfast was given. The hotel offered to discount $50 from our night's stay, but was unable to because it was booked through booknig.com. How do I proceed from here? We were REALLY looking forward to our waffles and other breakfast items we always have when we visit.

Stayed here for one night visiting family. I was happy there was a Hilton property so close, but unfortunately was very disappointed. Rooms are outdated. Mattress squeaks when you sit on it. The room was also very musty with a strong odor. On a positive note, the front desk staff was very nice and lobby was clean.
I thought i left my dog pee pad. I called the young lady was kind and patient. She checked the room and returned the call with no pad found. However I did find it in between. His bed when unpacked another bag.

Small room for the price and for the price it could have had a better bathroom. The breakfast is nasty too.
It was close to the town and the Country club where we played golf. It was lovely and clean and the pool area was lovely
Not a far drive to town which was very nice. Right off a major road, so easy to find.
The hotel had a smell which they tried to cover with air fresheners. In need of updates.
Front desk was super friendly and helpful during check in. The fitness center was tiny with no real weights. The breakfast dining area was small but the food as one would expect from Hampton Inn. Rooms were a little musty smelling. Bedding was clean and rooms were in decent condition.
