I would not go.
Pros:

The location was convenient for going to the island ferry ports.

Cons:

The whole building was old and run down. The only indoor accessible way into the Waterpark area was filled with mold, on the walls, in the carpet, you could feel it in the carpet because the carpet felt wet everywhere. There are soft spots in the floor in multiple places in the halls, paint was chipping and curling up off the window sills in the hallway. The whole vibe felt like it should have been abandoned. The water park was old and mildew looking all over the walls and tiles.

It was ok overall because I think they were renovating

There weren’t any vending machines, no microwave or a fridge and they weren’t any staff at the specific hotel and had to check in at another hotel

Pros:

Location was good, but for the dates I stayed was still in the off season

Cons:

The lobby was empty and looked abandoned, you had to go the the neighboring hotel to check in. The hallway was freezing cold, the keycard locks did not work on the doors so anyone could walk into your room when you weren’t inside. The carpet was ripped in the room, and there was absolutely no hot water when taking a shower.

Not a bad choice if you’re able to look past a few things
Pros:

Have been coming up to Mackinaw city for the past 10 years. Have stayed at multiple hotels in the area. This one works good for location to ferry dock and waterpark for the kids. Rooms were somewhat updated last year. It’s a good value for the money if you’re able to look past wear and tear on rooms.

Cons:

The room had a musty smell to it. Carpets definitely need to be cleaned and a window that opened would help let fresh air in the room. Pool and hot tub were not very clean as well.
