Hotel desk was not fully staffed during efficient times and hours. No one at desk in morning or evening hours. Door to reception desk area was locked.
Easy walk distance from the ferry to Mackinac Island.
Our room was amazingly looking to the lake, however, we could not see much because the outside of the windows were dirty with cobwebs etc... Need a little TLC (power wash).
The reviews on this hotel aren’t great but our experience was overall pretty good. The check in staff was friendly and helpful; they provided coffee supplies when our room didn’t have what we needed. The room was clean and quiet. The location is pretty ideal for the Mac Island ferry.

No breakfast available, coffee provided, the room was in need of a deep cleaning... the waterpark was great...
The spiders in the hallway made my granddaughter very nervous...

Never cleaned our room during our stay, room was dirty, pool and water park was covered in black mold and not cleaned at all, missing covers on pool filters, one guest was hurt falling in missing cover, ambulance called, understaffed and no amenities on site. Will never stay here again...

we did not stay for breakfast. The hotel is aged and it SHOWS. I wasn’t going to risk eating the breakfast.
The entire hotel is just old and dingy. The water park’s water is freezing cold and completely disgusting. The bottom of the pool is covered in discolored flooring and stains. The other pools are just cloudy. Not clear at all.

Great refrigerator, size temp and clean. water park/pool area.
Not knowing what i didn't know. bathroom counter should have been fixed many rentals ago. All 120v AC plugs are worn out. Carpet stayed moist/damp carpet left feet and socks dirty. Pool access to water park a bit unwelcome, redoing of hedges, shrubs maybe landscape and sidewalk changes would help. Water in park play area way too cold to enjoy!
Paid for lake view and got it as well as a view of cobwebs and dirt on the outside of the window. Could have been cleaner- maybe power washed monthly would have helped- even once a season would have been better.
The dirty windows and needed some upgrading- clean caulk in bathroom, and some upgrades in the room.
