Cons:

The price difference. Booking.com told me I will be paying $152 and some cents when I get to the hotel, instead the staff charges me $200+ and some cents.. Not sure why.. but I figured the staff should explain why I am getting charged $50 extra if they can see all of my details.

Most everything else about the room and the facility was okay. Only had breakfast and was gone.
Pros:

The breakfast was just a typical hotel breakfast

Cons:

Declines of the room was okay. There was a very musty smell in the room. They had some kind of a unit running but it evidently wasn’t helping. Maybe if I wasn’t on the ground floor it would’ve been better but paying this kind of money I can get musty smell in any cheap hotel.

That’s where we stay when in Wilkesboro. Kinda like the center of everything.

Couldn’t figure out the ac had a thermostat on the wall and one on the air conditioner.

Pros:

Very Clean. Good breakfast. Hot coffee 24 hrs. Pool, gym. Comfortable beds, good shower. Quiet for sleeping. Friendly staff.

Cons:

Would have liked a later checkout but they expected a big crowd so not possible .
Could use more shade/ umbrellas by the pool.

The pool was nice.

Cons:

The refrigerator did not work in the room. I was told by the desk that family or friends could not be on the property unless they were registered. I was charged an enormous deposit of $300 & was told they could hold my money for up to 2 weeks. (Why?) I had to park on the opposite side of the building. They do not have enough parking spaces to accommodate a full house. I am a local which means I support the local economy, so why am I subjected to a $300 deposit? I was by myself. I felt like I was being judged by this hotel just because I lived nearby.

Gem of a property
Pros:

Room was super comfortable. Quite a bit of room--we had King bed with couch (that would have been an extra bed I suspect). Bathroom very spacious. Quiet hallways. Breakfast was fantastic--2 choices of waffles, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, toast, cereal, yoghurt. It was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had
