The Monkey Brewhouse has a modern refurbed interior and is very clean. The staff were very helpful.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent on both mornings and we ate dinner on one evening which was very good.

Beautiful characterful building in easy location, excellent staff. Great food and drink
Pros:

Excellent staff, beautiful character full building. Fantastic food and drink, the breakfasts were delicious. Lovely spacious bathroom. Good location. Good value. Nice hostess tray. Little touches such as blankets and a fan, shampoo conditioner shower gel and moisturiser provided which is becoming rarity now.

Cons:

Because of such an old building could hear every little noise, from the busy road outside to noises in the building, along with some kind of delivery at 6am approx. They did provide ear plugs and whilst we appreciate not a lot could be done still had disrupted sleep. The room was compact but had all space we needed; it was showing signs of wear such as with the curtains, sellotape on the back of tv remote or broken drawing pin on front of door and the mattress was very hard.

Pros:

La gentillesse du personnel, la bière, qui est excellente, brassée sur place. Les repas était excellent La champ et la literie. Est très confortable et pour nous, qui venons de belgique, et qu'il ne parlons pas anglais ? Très sympa, d'avoir le patron qui parle français ainsi qu'une des serveuse Hortense un grand merci à eux 2.

Cons:

Nous ne sommes pas des gens difficiles et pour nous, aucun. Négatif.

Micro-brewery Pub slightly out of town
Pros:

Good pub with its own brewery so the beer is excellent. Good food and very nicely cooked breakfast done fresh. Good shower and very large bath towels (which is unusual and very welcome for any hotel.

Cons:

On a main road well out of town. Bed and pillows were a bit tired and room was quite small: no wardrobe. So, functional rather than comfortable.

Room was very clean quite large comfy bed good area close to New Forest !

Cons:

BREAKFAST Only one choice of bread ! Bacon BIT over cooked

Great beer, great people but bit noisey.
Pros:

We loved the friendlyness of the staff, they couldn't do enough for us morning or evening. The breakfasts were amazing.

Cons:

The closeness to a busy road although every effort was made to negate this with very good double glazing but when in the beer garden it could be a bit much. Also the matress on the bed could have been a lot more comfortable as the edges were giving away (Room 3).

A lovely stay with lovely staff at a good price
Pros:

It was only a five minute drive from lymington the staff were excellent as was the food we ate breakfast twice lunch once and dinner all served quickly and all cooked to perfection .The rooms were nice and the beds comfortable.

Cons:

The only downside was the noise from the road ,obviously in this heat the windows had to be open , ear plugs were available,which we didn’t feel the need to use
