Pros:

Comfortable beds and very tidy. Breakfast was really nice and good value for money considering it was included in the price of the stay

Cons:

Upon check in the blonde eastern European woman on the front desk was very stern and could have been a little more welcoming but besides that the stay was enjoyable

Breakfast was good and self service system for this in restaurant easy.

Cons:

Size of car park and walk to other parking area if that one was full. Not ideal walk for unaccompanied female. Also car park fee for either on top of hotel cost.

Excellent value for money.
Pros:

Modern clean rooms. Good breakfast. Breakfast staff are very friendly. Great location for two good restaurants nearby and to make a base for the Lake District.
Overall, this is a great value for money hotel.

Cons:

Zero welcome at reception. Staff never smiled, looked tired or uninterested.
The water pressure in the shower was pathetic.

what i expected as we come regularly
Pros:

We choose to stay here when we come to the area as we feel it fulfills our requirements .

Most of the staff are friendly and helpful.One of the male members of staff 's attitude was less friendly and waited for me to ask him for what I should like at the bar, giving me the impression I was a trouble to him, which was a bit disappointing , but I marked it high overall as the rest had an excellent approach.

Pros:

The place was lovely to stay in and bedroom comfortable. We had a View of the Town hall. On arrival Ryan on reception was brilliant and helpful about where to Park. Which was Free for us staying in the holiday inn. Unfortunately their car park was full on our arrival.

Bringing luggage up from other Car park. As no room on their car park.
