Lovely place to stay
Pros:

The room was nice.
The area is amazing . Seeing all the boats. Was nice and peaceful

Cons:

Paint was peeling off from the skirting boards.
When u flushed the toilet it was noisy.

EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY
Pros:

This is a hotel in a marina and lodge setting. Pub food is available and breakfasts. The staff are VERY helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It is a VERY economical stay. Free parking for guests.
There are walks along the Stour. There is an RSPB reserve nearby. We went to the Henry Moore Studio Gallery about 20 mins away. I would use this accommodation again

Nice location.
Pros:

There was a 'quiet time' rule after 11 pm.

Cons:

The disabled bathroom was not at all adequate. Thw step up into the shower was unsafe for me and anyone more disabled than me would not be abled to use it. The toilet was not very functional.

Ideal location for what we needed. But rooms need a serious upgrade.
Pros:

They got dinner and breakfast orders wrong. Both over greasy and not hot enough.

Cons:

My toast was already buttered and it had sunk into the toast ,breakfast not warm enough. Could not control room temperature or air con. So room was too hot and airless.

Pros:

Room 17 ok but needs updating - outside very dirty - door mat filthy - garden furniture filthy - cill at bottom of patio door full of filth - bedding very smelly - needs a desk like table - coffee making stuff and kettle on very low chest off drawers! Needs 2 chairs for 2 guests there was only 1 - shower cubicle needs somewhere to put shower gel!

Cons:

Coffee in boathouse costantly cold. Ordered 2 breakfast ciabbatas waited 15 minutes - asked where were they to be told our order didnt go trough. Extortionate prices for not very well cooked food! The old boathouse for food and drink was perfect before Lakeland took over and ruined everything! All a rip off now aNd bad service

Cons:

Breakfast expensive - eggs benedict stated soft poached eggs - they were rock hard - stated streaky bacon it was cold back bacon! Both cappucinos cold sent back. Afternoon cappucinos both cold sent back again.The old boathouse was lovely perfect food and reasonably priced! And lovely atmosphere!

Good value for money and in a lovely spot. The staff were very friendly and professional. The food was very nice, cooked fresh and also good value for money.

Cons:

Only one minor issue, could do with black out curtains as the room was a bit bright.

Apart from tv very good value for money
Pros:

A bit of a lottery not knowing what room you’re in. If I had a choice not room 11. Stayed in that room twice and unable to get terrestrial tv only streaming services.

Cons:

As I said room 11. is an enigma to me regarding getting tv to work.

Comfortable and relaxed.

Cons:

Toilet was a bit of an issue. Needed to be cleaned thoroughly and bleach used, as it was somewhat smelly.
