All good except when using shower it set off the macerator - very noisy especially in the night
All fine except green emergency exit light but nothing doing !
Nothing
The time I get there, there was no person to give me the room. the key provided by security . I went to the room and the room smell like a hell. then I had to go and find the security to change my room. he give me the other room it was dirty and full of her and the bathroom and shower dirty and the half shame is over there , the water was not drain!! I had the most awful experience I had...
Nice little complex with a boathouse and variety of rooms abmvailavle.
Curtain could be a bit thicker or add a blind to block sunlight (room 11)
Me and my partner often stay at roydon marina to come visit family and it is always friendly staff are polite and engage in conversation and always clean and tidy
Prices for breakfast
Nothing.
The hotel staff was not present and left me waiting over half an hour to be checked in, when they did turn up and they was very rude and made excuses that made no sense.
Nice atmosphere, peaceful and friendly. Great location for visiting London without driving in.
The bar could have stayed open later to accommodate people who return from London. Bar shut at 9.30pm in the week!
Good location
Bedroom a bit small - could. It open the door to patio properly as not enough room
Location was great for what I needed (to go to Harlow the next morning) and it was very helpful to have a big free parking area. The area is quite pleasant, with the canal boats. Staff were helpful and there was a restaurant/bar area to get food in the evening or in the morning (paid extra). Price was great.
Just a few bits led to the lower scores for my stay. The bathroom smelled like sewage, which was thankfully mostly contained by closing the door, but still very unpleasant. The room heaters had bizarrely been set to 38 degrees (for mid May when it had started to get warm anyway), so the room was unbelievably hot when I arrived quite late. I had to switch it off and open the patio door to the room (ground floor hotel room), but there were no windows, so I didn't feel I could leave it open as there was a footpath right nearby, so didn't feel safe. So room ended up being uncomfortably hot most of the night, sadly. Mattress was old, so a bit uncomfortable, but I expected some element of this given the price.
Rooms were very plain not individually decorated quite ugly furniture although clean and good value but little design
Bathroom ugly shower hard to use no hot or cold displayed had to open screen to get it working in which time water went over floor
The room was great
The cold shower/ staff at the bar/ restaurant and no room service
