great atmosphere and perfect for productive business travel. Really had a great in-room set up to help with personal fitness & wellbeing - like a fitness app and yoga mat on the TV, plus the Headspace app to help me undwind and relax
Excellent in every way. Same level of service as the Hazelton around the corner which is also excellent. I believe the hotel is a tremendous value because the room and service justify the price and then some.
Park Hyatt in Toronto is located in the centre of the old town and next to the museums, and a 30-minute drive from the airport, YYZ, or about an hour on public transport. The hotel has a nice modern touch with plenty of art dotted around the hotel. The lobby is to the right as you enter and on the left is the residences which is also where you find the Spa and the gym. The gym is well equipped with all you need! In between the hotel and the residences are the restaurant and bar. The rooms are big with the art theme extending into the rooms. The rooms has both social and works areas to accommodate for all travellers, and a well stocked minibar. The restaurant is excellent and the breakfast is great, however if you fancy something else, everything is around the corner from exquisite restaurants to fast food. A great place to explore Toronto.
Good room, excellent location, friendly front desk reception
Restaurant and bar upstairs were difficult and unfriendly. It was a mission to be seated and get a beer at the bar upstairs and reception at restaurant downstairs were unfriendly
location was exceptional, staff were excellent
The Park Hyatt Toronto is an oasis in the Yorkville neighborhood of Toronto. The Yorkville area is a great location with wonderful restaurants and bars along with high end shopping outlets. Close to the Toronto metro and the Park Hyatt complimentary car service takes you within 4 or 5 KM of the hotel making going to the waterfront area very easy. The hotel is right across from the Royal Ontario Museum and a few blocks from the University of Toronto. The hotel is beautiful with well designed rooms and suites and an on site Stillwater Spa. A great rooftop Bar, the Writers Room is a must visit.
You will love the Park Hyatt either if on business or vacation. The entire staff at the hotel is outstanding and their Concierge team is excellent. Toronto is one of our favorite cities and the Park Hyatt Toronto makes it even more special.
It will be the highlight of your trip to Toronto
I received an email from the hotel before our arrival. Since I booked two rooms and was traveling with my child and parents, I requested to have the rooms close to each other for a more convenient family stay.
The team did a wonderful job arranging connecting rooms for us, which made our stay so much easier and more comfortable. They also prepared a lovely welcome dessert for us, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The front desk staff were also very welcoming and took the time to explain all the Guest of Honor (GOH) benefits during check-in. Throughout our stay, whenever I reached out through the messaging feature in the Hyatt app, the team always responded quickly and was very helpful.
Thank you so much for the amazing hospitality. We truly appreciate everything!
We continue to find a stay at the Park Hyatt Toronto an excellent experience. The staff goes above and beyond to make your vacation a most memorable one. The hotel is beautiful and rooms well appointed, spa and fitness center are a pleasure (as are the staff members). When in Toronto we would never stay anywhere else but the Park Hyatt!!!
We have stayed at fantastic 5 star hotels all around the world. The Park Hyatt Toronto ranks right up there at the top. Beautiful place and the most helpful, friendly staff you will ever find. Do not hesitate choosing this hotel for a stay in Toronto.
If you are seeking options of accommodations this hotel is the one for you. The service from the time I was welcomed in at check-in with sparking wine and water for my daughter, to everyone being genuinely nice, to even housekeeping knowing my name and greeting me in the morning as I walked down the hall ….every moment was special and fabulous. The location is also supreme with shopping literally starting at a 5min walk from the hotel. Also, the Royal Ontario museum is right down the street (~5min walk).
My family decided to attend a Blue Jays game. The Courtesy car was available and we felt so special pulling up to the stadium in the PH’s beautiful black Escalade.
Our room was also excellent. We were in a king suite and everyone had a nice amount of room to spread out (ie my husband and I with our 9 y/o. ) The room was clean and the bathroom was exquisite. We also enjoyed the gym and I personally had fun using the Peloton row machine they had available (while also earning 100 Hyatt points per exercise)
I can’t recommend this property enough if you are traveling to the area.
The level of service was impeccable. Everyone from reception to concierge to restaurant, valet, and housekeeping was cordial, inviting, professional, and helpful.
This luxurious hotel in Toronto offers an excellent location, conveniently situated near shopping centers, train stations, museums, parks, and delicious restaurants.
However, during my stay, I encountered an issue with the elevators. One elevator was out of service, and we had to share it with construction workers and staff. While it wasn’t particularly convenient, I had to make do with it.
On a positive note, I noticed an empty wine bottle in the minibar area when I checked in. I promptly informed the hotel, explaining that I wasn’t drinking it and that housekeeping should check before sending guests in. Fortunately, the hotel promptly addressed the issue.
When you stay here, be sure to check out the hotel’s well-equipped gym, spa, and rooftop bar.
I’ve stayed at the Park Hyatt Toronto in the past and felt it was starting to show its age, though the service was always excellent. On this recent visit, I was pleasantly surprised — the hotel has been beautifully reimagined, with updated amenities and a refreshed, modern feel. The service remains outstanding, and the location is simply incomparable to any other hotel in the area. A great experience overall.
We’re actually writing this review while standing in line waiting for an elevator — on our last night, three tour buses unloaded simultaneously into a hotel served by only two slow elevators, creating a wait of over half an hour with no accommodation for guests already checked in.
It perfectly sums up our stay: a hotel that seems to prioritize large tour groups over individual travelers with little regard for the impact.
The positives are real — clean rooms, a good gym, reliable room service, friendly staff, and the Writers Room bar is excellent.
But our room wasn’t ready at check-in, turndown service appeared only once in three nights, and the elevators are inadequate even on a normal day.
There’s a four-star hotel here. But at five-star prices, the basics of the guest experience simply aren’t being met.
The hotel is very well located, across from Royal Ontario Museum, close to great restaurants and upscale shops. The room and bathroom were spacous and clean, bed was comfortable and the service was impeccable. The rooftop bar has a spectacular view, especially at night.
The entire hotel staff was super friendly, from the doorman to the House Car driver. I would like to recognize the staff who supported me during the week I was in Toronto:
At Reception, Chris, and at the Concierge, the support of Erika and Caleb. And the special attention of Vanessa Liabakos, with a surprise birthday cake to celebrate my sister´s birthday. And Mr. Abul from Room Service.
The Joni restaurant team was super attentive during our breakfast: Mike, Ewa, and the brazilian manager Otavio.
It was certainly a memorable experience!
Thanks
Fatima
Amazing staff and impeccable hotel. Loved the breakfast food and the view from the rooftop bar. Spa was wonderful and their facial beds move to keep the stress off the lower back!
Phenomenal customer service. The personal note and delicious macaroons waiting for us when we arrived was the kindest gesture. Love being a Hyatt Globalist! Free parking, complimentary shuttle/driver, free breakfast. I wish I didn’t book 2 days before arriving so that I could’ve taken advantage of the suite upgrades I have access to.
