Pros:

Our stay was wonderful. The bed was an absolute dream — we honestly didn’t want to get out of it in the mornings! The room was very clean, and the bathroom felt luxurious and relaxing.

The room was a little small, but it really didn’t bother us. The staff were lovely, friendly, and very helpful, especially when they assisted us with the paperwork for sending our luggage.

I also really appreciated having a smoking room in the hotel. Overall, we had a great stay and really enjoyed our time here!

Cons:

One small downside was that the bins aren’t emptied and fresh towels aren’t provided daily unless you pay an additional fee. However, fresh towels are available to pick up from reception, which was helpful.

We also wanted to use the hotel’s washing machine, but another guest who had just used it mentioned that small pieces were coming out of the machine. We decided not to risk it and used a nearby laundromat instead.

Un valore aggiunto per un soggiorno indimenticabile a Kyoto
Pros:

Ho soggiornato al Rinn a Kyoto e non potrei fare scelta migliore. L'hotel si trova in un quartiere molto suggestivo, centralissimo e vicinissimo alle principali attrazioni della città, oltre che comodamente collegato alla linea della metropolitana.La struttura è pulitissima. Le stanze sono arredate con grande cura, unendo lo stile tradizionale al comfort moderno. Il bagno è molto capiente, moderno e completo di tutto il necessario.Un encomio speciale va allo staff, estremamente cortese, accogliente e sempre disponibile a dare consigli utili.Consiglio vivamente il Rinn a chiunque voglia vivere un'esperienza speciale. Se tornerò a Kyoto, farò di tutto per alloggiare di nuovo qui: è stato un vero valore aggiunto al nostro viaggio.

Bella stanza, pulita. Posizione eccellente, a 5 minuti a piedi dalle linee ferroviarie, dal bus e anche dalla zona più viva di Kyoto. Rapporto qualità prezzo alle stelle qui.

Cons:

Le due sedie nella camera, prendono solo spazio e a volte le vorresti volare di fuori. Dovrebbero toglierle o al massimo metterne una sola

The only window in the room is locked. You can't refil your water bottle in the room, instead you have to go to the water machine on the ground floor.

Pros:

Très bel hôtel avec beaucoup de cachet, dans une rue très tranquille, juste à côté du vieux Kyoto et du canal.
Parfait pour servir de camp de base pour une semaine.
Il est magnifique. Le personnel est serviable et le service excellent.

Soggiorno meraviglioso a Kyoto, torneremo sicuramente!
Pros:

Struttura fantastica, pulitissima e curata nei minimi dettagli. Posizione ottima nel cuore di Kyoto, vicina ai mezzi e ai quartieri principali. Lo staff è stato estremamente gentile e disponibile per ogni richiesta. Camera accogliente, confortevole e silenziosa. Un soggiorno impeccabile!

Beautiful and convenient area
Pros:

We stayed during the 2026 Gion Matsuri and it was amazing to be able to experience it in about a 10 minute walking distance. The buildings and streets in the area are also some of the prettiest I've seen in Japan. The stay was on the cheaper side, but it had all the necessities for a hotel stay while being clean. Staff also helped us with luggage delivery to the next hotel making our experience very convenient.

Cons:

The room could be bigger and I wish the bathroom doors were a little thicker/soundproof. There is also only 1 laundry machine which I found was always in use at night. Otherwise, the hotel was excellent for the price.

Belles chambres au coeur de Gion. La rue est tres calme.
L hotel est a 10 min a pied du Nishiki market et du passage avec toutes les boutiques et attractions. 5 min a pied du metro
Le personnel est tres serviable et professionel.
L equipement est neuf.
Il y a une fontaine d eau, un micro onde, un lave linge, un seche linge accessible a tous.

Cons:

Le lave linge / seche linge fonctionne bien mais nos habits ne sont pas ressortis propres. Y avait t il assez de detergeant disponible, la temperature de lavage etait elle trop basse... ? Nous n'avons pris le temps de demander au staff qui etait deja tres serviable. Nous nous sommes juste contenter de relaver nos affaires dans un autre endroit
