The environment, service and attention to detail are all excellent - one of the best hotels in Europe.
Friendly and helpful staff who would go out of their way to assist us. Extremely comfortable room with plenty of space and a roomy bathroom. The location was excellent and very close to our reason for going to The Hague: The Mauritshuis. Also within walking distance to many fine restaurants and shopping in the beautiful historic section of town. Additionally a good base for day trips to Delft and other towns by tram/train.
Can't really think of anything to be improved upon.

Excellent check in experience, as good as I can remember and just about everything in the hotel oozes class. This was my second visit and the hotel now seems much busier, the lounge in particular. The breakfast is very good and the serving crew at that well organized and efficient. Our room was upgraded. It had a very high ceiling - which was probably one of the factors in the room seeming chilly. Although historically charming I preferred the smaller more modern room I had had on an earlier visit. The only real issue we had came from housekeeping, issues getting the room made up, a bag of trash left behind in the room but the front desk managed those problems for us. As for the decor in the public areas there can be few more interesting places to stay and it is all kept in an excellent condition.

De locatie is uitstekend, voeg daarbij een valet service, zeer vriendelijk personeel en een uitstekend restaurant en je krijgt een cocktail waar niets op aan te merken is.
Bij het ontbijt, dat op zich zeer verzorgd is, vind ik het wat onhandig dat je voor elke koffie iemand moet roepen.
