Des Indes is not only a dream as a location but also a warm bath because of the staff, for us who travelled the world probably the best experience ever for hospitality and kindness.. and it is not even an exaggeration! We will be back! ❤️

Mooi en sfeervol hotel met uitgesproken gastvrijheid. Koloniale stijl geeft een gevoel om terug in de tijd te verblijven. Ontvangst was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Fijne en ruime kamer met prima bedden.
De service in het restaurant en de bar was niet op het niveau wat je zou verwachten. Rommelig en niet altijd deskundig. Bestelde wijn bleek niet voorradig. Wijnkoeler had nauwelijks ijs en was tot de rand gevuld met water waardoor de servet drijfnat werd. Ze deden hun bast maar de professionaliteit was er gewoon niet.

Breakfast was wonderful and the service from Dick and the concierge and at checkin was very professional and friendly. We appreciated the special help and attention. The breakfast buffet and venue were superb as well.
The high step up into the tub shower was a bit scary and seemed unsafe. The bathroom itself is modern and lovely, but we were relieved to not hurt ourselves after each shower.
Beautiful building, great location, lovely furnishings, good staff
Poor/no air con which, in 30 degrees temperatures was uncomfortable. We ended up with a battered old fan blasting away.
Although the staff were very nice and professional my wife and I seemed to get ignored at breakfast while the older guests seemed to get more attention (we are in our 50s). Getting a tea or coffee was harder than it should have been.

Great location, loved the hotel, nice rooms, wonderful helpful staff, perfect hotel for a weekend stay, restaurant was great as well.
