The stay made us feel as if we were in a fairy tale. The accommodations representative of a grand era of stately beauty and impeccable friendly service. An absolute delight!
We have no complaints whatsoever, except to realize our stay in The Hague was too short.
The staff were very accommodating and friendly.
The room was fantastic
The Location is good
We were given a two day weekend at the Hotel. The reception rooms and general atmosphere is good. However like all hotel of this type/Age/Star rating there is always something not quite right. Because the staff never sleep in your room they veery rarely know what works and what doesn't? Sadly on our visit out TV did not work and the iron only works when the lights are on! How were we supposed to know that? Finally we found the service in the Bar/Restaurant lacking attention from the staff. To get their attention you had to wait a while? No good on a grand Hotel

Classy room with very good beds/cotton. Well trained friendly staff, good concierge. Top location. Would go back.
All good.
Very beautiful old building grand entrance; old style luxury…
Came in late from a flight from London; wanted a quick drink and nibble at the bar (it was after 22:00). Ordered a champagne (good selection by the glass and very nice) and some gyoza’s… After about 5m a blonde lady (I assume floor manager) came in an started berating the bartender for taking the food order. She did this within earshot, which i found fairly distasteful as that conversation could have been had away from customers. The bartender was very apologetic and explained that had changed the serving hours for food a month ago (imo that was all that needed to be said).
When i left the hotel in the morning there was no doorman (Sunday morning not busy); went back in and the lady at reception had to order my taxi.
PS the revolving door to get in is extremely awkward to get in when you have multiple pieces of luggage (guess what the doorman can actually fold them; if he’s there!).
Overall pretty disappointing service at a fairly reputable establishment; would not choose to stay again!
