Hotel met grandeur en vriendelijke gastvrijheid
Pros:

Oh my god, wat een prachtig gebouw en wat een vriendelijk personeel! Het was mijn droom om hier ooit een nacht te slapen en het heeft mijn verwachtingen overtroffen. Natuurlijk vanwege het gebouw, de historie en de aankleding, maar ook vanwege alle kleine gastvrije details en het vriendelijke personeel aan de balie en in het restaurant.

Pros:

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It offers truly old-school hospitality, where every guest is made to feel genuinely welcome and valued.
The staff are excellent, the spa is lovely, the massage was wonderful, the restaurant is very good, and the location is absolutely fantastic.
I sincerely hope to return to this beautiful hotel again very soon.

Stijlvol hotel op een schitterende locatie en comfortabele kamers
Pros:

Prachtig hotel op een schitterende locatie. De indrukwekkende lobby en de stijlvolle ontbijtruimte zorgen meteen voor een luxueuze uitstraling. Ook de kamers zijn comfortabel ingericht en de bedden zijn heerlijk, wat garant staat voor een goede nachtrust. Daarnaast verdient de valet service een speciale vermelding: uiterst professioneel en efficiënt.

Cons:

Jammer genoeg werd het verblijf enigszins overschaduwd door een koude kamer, waarbij de verwarmingsmogelijkheden onvoldoende bleken. Ook het menu van het restaurant stelde teleur en bleef achter bij de hoge verwachtingen die de rest van het hotel oproept.

Very bad experience

The noise outside, the staff. My girlfriend was told to show a creditcard upon leaving the hotel (no checking out yet) eventhough I checked her in a day prior with my creditcard to be paid in full. Instead they only performed pre approval and my girlfriend was confronted the morning after with a very lazy and rude staff member at the reception (a man) while my girlfriend had a very hectic day to begin with due to Prinsjesdag where she is a prominent figure for the municipality in organising this event each year. I wasn't sleeping in the hotel so I got called out of bed very early with the request to show in person the credit ard at the hotel. All the roads were already blocked so I finally made a phone call but was waiting more than 15 minutes (!!) twice. Finanlly I spoke to a staff member and she told me all was well and my creditcard would be used upon checkout without me showing the card. It was a very bad experience all togethet for me but specially for my girlfriend. So much miscommunication (or no communication because nobody picks up the phone in the early morning) Never again

Heerlijk luxe verblijf midden in Den Haag, net buiten de grote drukte.
