Pros:

Location, staff, ambience of a wonderful facility.

Cons:

when you are paying justifiably premium room rates, and a chunky dinner rate (£100 for 3 courses) it feels a bit unnecessary and cheap to charge for potatoes/veg to accompany the main course. Even the high end wine prices are ok, but these additional food charges look surprisingly ill-judged. Why create a little annoyance in an otherwise superb experience?

Unerwartet fantastisches Hotel

Ich habe so einen Service nicht erwartet. Sehr persönlich, Zimmer Top. Wir haben einen Upgrade bekommen. Eis war bereit im Zimmer, 2 Auld Fashioned stehen bereit zum geniessen. Bett Top, Sauberkeit Top, Personal Top.
Aber das Frühstück hat es getoppt. Endlich mal kleinere Portionen. Sehr köstlich.
Die Lage ist fantastisch.
Das Abendessen , unkompliziert, kleine Auswahl, aber extrem köstlich. mit gleichen guten Service wie im ganzen Hotel.
Atmosphäre im Hotel ist als ob man zu hause ist. sehr angenehm.

Stunning place to stay

Superb boutique hotel with extremely good food and service

Cons:

The only downside was the size of the bed, which seemed on the small size. Some reasons have super kings, but ours seemed to have a standard double. So if space whilst sleeping is important to you, just check which room has which sized bed.

The weather could have been better!!
Pros:

Great room the olde world charm, luxury touches, whisky drink in bedroom covers turned down at night and chocolates. Breakfast was exceptionally good maitre di was charming.
