The bed was very comfortable, the room had everything you needed, the lobby of the hotel was very elegant, and the parking across the street was very close.
The room was a bit cramped- definitely a small room.

No primeiro dia, 28 de maio, quando chegamos as 9:30 hs no restaurante para o cafe da manhã havia acabado tudo! E a máquina de cafe havia quebrado. Não foi bom.
No segundo dia, chegamos mais cedo e a situação se normalizou.
Tive um problema com a reserva. No check eu informada que tinha dois números de reserva e fui cobrada duplicado. Eu nunca reservei dois quartos e nunca houve confirmação pelo booking destas duas reservas. Já entrei em contato com o booking para resolver esta questão.
The bed was really comfortable
The staff where very loud at night, our check in time was 3pm and we wasn’t let into our room until 3:50 after arriving at 2:55 after a 2 hour long drive, wasn’t offered complementary drinks when having to wait for the room to be ready. Staff didn’t notify us of times of breakfast or checkout time the day after and we was treated differently to others checking out before us. The breakfast staff where amazing they was really friendly and welcoming however it was the check in staff and the evening staff that ruined our stay shouting and talking loudly at 11:15pm was disrespectful when our room was two doors away from the reception.
The room wasn’t ready due to cleaning of the bathroom and once we was in we inspected this and it wasn’t thoroughly cleaned, the safety catch on the window was also broken which made me feel unsafe as we was on the ground floor

The parking spaces were limited and the shower 🚿 was really small.
This is an excellent hotel, only 15 minutes walk outside of York. The rooms are beautifully designed and spacious. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant provides very good food at a reasonable price, if you buy a dinner voucher from their website beforehand. I'd recommend both the restaurant and hotel.
There were 2 bottles of water in the room, with a sign on that says it's £2.50 each if you drink. I didn't drink it obviously, but what cheek. It's the reason your 9 is not a 10.

The bed was excellent
The large room with just 1 tiny seat. How are you supposed to relax? We reported our Fridge was faulty, it was not fixed after 4 days. The staff do not manage the EV parking! It's a lottery, they are often taken by petrol cars. Do Not stay here if EV charging is essential. Finally the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. In the room you are given a QR code to scan for Menu etc, except it's last year's!! Hopeless
Öncelikle otele giriş yaptığımızda saat 15.00 olmasına rağmen Odamız hazır değildi temizlendiğini söylediler ve uzun süre bizi beklettiler.sonra ıkı kat bavulları kendimiz çıkarttık asansör yoktu ama yardım edecek bırıde yoktu ve rica etmemize rağmen yardım edilmedi.sonrasında odalar kokuyordu bina eskı ve havasız havalandırma iyicalısmıyor ve ben alerjik ve astım hastasıyım odada çok boğuldum pencerelerin kilitli olması saçma. Sabah kahvaltıda bir omlet istedik tam ıkı saatte geldi kahvaltıdan kalkmamıza yakın bir daha bu tesiste kalmam!!!
