This hotel has an excellent location for exploring Banff without a car.
Public transportation is literally just steps away. The Roam Route 1 and Route 2 bus stop is directly outside the hotel, the Route 8X stop is across the street, and Routes 1, 2, 4, and 6 are all within a two-minute walk. Whether you are visiting Lake Louise, local attractions, or simply getting around Banff, the transportation options are extremely convenient.
The front desk staff were always courteous, welcoming, and happy to help. We especially appreciated their assistance with using the hotel’s microwave. They were patient and accommodating every time we asked, and their friendly attitude made us feel genuinely welcome.
Another benefit that added great value to our stay was the complimentary three-day Roam transit pass( Routes 1, 2, 4, and 6) provided by the hotel. It made getting around Banff easy while saving us both time and money.
With its convenient location, excellent public transportation access, thoughtful service, and free transit passes, this hotel is an excellent choice for visitors who plan to explore Banff without driving. We would be happy to stay here again.
Location. Clean , comfortable, parking
No breakfast service
חדר מרווח ונקי
מיקום טוב אבל לא בתוך המרכז. חדרים מעט מיושנים
Parking
It was close to Banff and the room was super nice.
Please check the front desk during the night more often. If somebody comes during the night.
The room was clean and a nice size. There was no breakfast included but we did have a parking space included which we did not need. Staff was very helpful when I left my Airpods in the room and they had UPS mail them too me. Location was great - not right in the thick of all the stores, restaurants and tourists but just a couple blocks down.
Close to bus stops, free parking, views of mountains, quiet, beautiful flowers, shopping within blocks. Beds were comfortable, balcony had a view of mountains, room was nice.
The weight room and hot tub areas are together, and could use an upgrade. The bathroom light was very dim.
Very convenient location at the heart of the Banff town. Central location for the start of most of the tours.
Pricey, perhaps due to its central location and tourist season.
Location is excellent. Room is very nice. And we love the way the 2 beds are splitted and the washroom is in between.
The AC is pretty noisy and the air doesn’t flow evenly. But we really enjoyed the stay.
Location is excellent - very close to everything on Banff Avenue (Main Street). Staff were very helpful and friendly, and we REALLY appreciated the complimentary bus passes, which gave us unlimited, free travel on four different bus routes, including the Gondola at Sulphur Mountain, the Cave and Basin, Tunnel Mountain and Lake Minnewanka.
We were not aware ahead of time that there is little to no parking for cars at Lake Louise and Lake Moraine, so we’re very lucky to catch a paid trip to both, with Banff Explorer, @$79.00 each. There IS a local bus ($6.50 for seniors), but that has to be booked AT LEAST two days ahead.
For the price we paid for our hotel - one suite for four people, for four nights - we were very disappointed in what we got: the double room opened into a section with a queen sized bed, then a bathroom, with a king bed past that. Unfortunately, there was not even space for a side table beside the Queen, and the lighting was dim, without any reading light. Two seats for four people meant two people had to sit on the (king) bed to socialize. Definitely did not live up to our expectations!
