Pros:

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our flight was cancelled so we ended up missing the first night of our stay and they offered a refund for that night without us asking. The staff working in the breakfast area were also very accommodating and they remembered the things we liked after coming for a couple days.

Cons:

Only complaint is that the continental breakfast was lighter than expected. Would’ve been great to have a few more protein options.

Good value, clean and excellent location but old and dark.
Pros:

Right next to Times Square. Staff very polite. Very clean.

Cons:

Old and dark plus breakfast pretty poor (no hot food or much selection).
Windows in room were glazed and couldn’t open so you couldn’t see out, due to view being a courtyard of bins and smelly air con units.

Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay, and we appreciated the complimentary anniversary gift! The staff were excellent and helpful. The breakfast and lounge were great for a quick bite. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The location was great to walk to broadway plays, Penn Station, Central Park, 30 Rock, the Empire State Building, andn many more tourist destinations. There were also plenty of nearby subway stops to quickly venture to other areas of the city.

Pros:

We have just spent a 3 day stay in this charming hotel. It’s intimate and very cosy. The staff is absolutely lovely. Very smiling, very helpful. The blonde hair lady at breakfast is so kind. The room was confortable and very clean. It was overlooking the backyard, so it was a little bit dark. But when you are in New York, you spend your days outsider anyway.
Drinks and snacks available all day long are really appreciated.
Thank you !
If we have a chance to come back, we will choose a larger room (petite queen style was a little bit tiny for us).

Would stay again without hesitation.
Pros:

Location is exceptional - right in the heart of Midtown, walking distance to Times Square, Bryant Park, Grand Central and the NY Public Library. Couldn't ask for a better base for exploring the city.
Room was clean, well maintained and comfortable - exactly what you need after a full day on your feet. Staff were genuinely lovely, warm and helpful throughout the stay.
Rick's Café with complimentary coffee and snacks available 24/7 is a nice touch - appreciated it both arriving late from the airport and heading out early in the morning.
Would stay again without hesitation.

A surprisingly elegant and quiet place near Times Square!
Pros:

The location was excellent. In fact, I was surprised how quiet the room and hotel was. That there was a cappuccino/coffee machine available at all times was great. There was a very good selection of breakfast food as well.

There were also snacks available ad libitum.

Cons:

There is actually very little. I wanted to check in very slightly early (about an hour) and there were no rooms. The staff seemed surprised that I had hoped there was a room! But, they did find a room at the last minute and it all worked out.

Tolles, sicheres, sauberes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal
Pros:

Winderbares Hotel. Obwohl sehr nah am Time Square trotzdem sehr ruhig. Tolle Atmosphäre im Hotel, man fühlt sich schnell willkommen und wird von sehr freundlichem und zuvorkommendem Personal versorgt. Frühstück war sensationell gut. Jederzeit hat man Snacks, Kaffee und Getränk zur Verfügung. Bei nächstem Besuch in dieser unglaublichen Stadt werden wir bestimmt wieder dieses Hotel wählen. Nur zum empfehlen.

Great value, incredible hospitality
Pros:

Exceptionally friendly and professional staff made staying at Casablanca a genuine treat. My room location, at the back of the building, was quiet despite our proximity to Times Square. I appreciated the availability of refreshments throughout the day, the restaurant tips from the staff, and the good transportation connections. Highly recommend staying at Casablanca.
