Very friendly, helpful staff. Hotel was clean and modern.
The room I stayed in was in lower ground level, and was very small, just about large enough to put a single bed in, between two walls. When you lay down, your foot was against the wall, your couldn’t stretch or relax (I’m not particularly tall). I ended up sleeping on the floor, but there also wasn’t enough space to move the mattress to the floor. The insulation wasn’t great, so I could hear slamming doors and conversations next door, and the leaky gutter pipe outside. You could also feel the vibrations of the trains going toward victoria. I think the regular rooms upstairs would probably be good, but this basement room wasn’t.

10 minute walk from Victoria Station, lovely mattress and powerful air conditioning and just what was needed for a 2 night stay on business in London.
General areas could maybe do with sprucing up a little bit and a few creaky floorboards around the property.

It was in a fairly good location and the bed was quite comfortable. The shower was fine. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming.
The bed linen had hairs on, the carpet and decor was worn out, the sockets were poorly fitted so didn’t work well and there was so little room around the toilet it was actually impossible to sit on it properly.

Stairs, no lift.
Reception staff were very smart and polite and it gave the impression of a professional and well managed hotel. My room exceeded my expectations at this price point, very clean and new feeling, the shower was great, the bed was comfortable, a new tv that I could connect to my phone and air con that worked really well and a tea and coffee station.
This wasn't a problem for me but my room (no. 402) was at the very top of the building and has a steep set of stair with an awkward bend at the top which would be a problem if you were less mobile or had heavy / bulky luggage. Again this want a negative for me but should be flagged before you make the booking.
