Great location good value
Pros:

Great location in Merivale, close to everything. Staff were all very friendly. Room was clean Abe bed and pillows were comfortable, shower had good pressure.

Cons:

Quite outdated with old carpet and curtains, very old furnishings. There is no dedicated kitchenette space just a kettle on top of the fridge which was a bit messy. Very noisy with the people upstairs banging around was hard to sleep.

Fine for a one night stay
Pros:

Fridge in room was noisy all night - when we checked the safety inspection label it was overdue a current inspection by more than a year and the cupboard the fridge sat in was very warm - possible fire hazard? Reported to reception but they didn't seem too bothered.

Pros:

I really liked how scenic it is and the sauna. The staff are super lovely and it's very close to lots of things. The room was very big and spacious.

Cons:

The room was very dusty, the fridge is only there to serve as a mini bar, theres not even a microwave, no smart tv and the adapter cables given to use drain your phone battery in 20 mins so you can't watch anything. Has so much potential but not worth the price.

Pros:

OK - I like my food hotter so little diappointed that warm not hot.

Cons:

Rib Eye steak for dinner was not rib eye - some other cut and a little tough. Was late and hungry so just took it on the chin.

Great service and clean rooms.
Pros:

David was excellent to deal with, he even helped me pack my bags into the vehicle when I was checking out.

Cons:

The doors and windows are thin there was more outside noise than I expected.
