For someone who doesn’t do reviews! I needed somewhere to break up a long journey late in the day and was pleasantly surprised at the Mews. I stayed in the single room which although small, was very comfortable and cozy. The bar is a lovely area with a good choice of beers and great food. All the staff are really friendly and the atmosphere was really welcoming. Breakfast was a bonus and they happily sorted a takeaway breakfast sandwich so I could get going. All in all, a great find and somewhere I’ll definitely save for the future. Go see for yourselves 🍻

Single room was small but very pretty, loved the wallpaper. Everything I needed was there. Very clean.
Evening meals were lovely.

Stayed for one night, as previous visit was very good. Had evening meal 10 out of 10. Belly pork, again, will be raving on about until my next visit to Yorkshire.

A really nice pub, with good accomodations. A warm welcome. Very friendly staff. Food excellent. A great 2 days stay. Always use The Mews when we visit family.

The staff were really friendly throughout my stay and helpful.
The food was really good and especially the dinner on offer was so good.
I rarely eat when I stay at at hotel but the food was so good I had dinner both nights.
Breakfast was nice and plenty of cooked food made to order which I liked rather than a buffet style.

I stayed at The Mews Hotel for two nights for work and will definitely be staying again in the future.
The hotel is well situated and close to the centre of Ossett with good bus connections to Wakefield Westgate.
Staff throughout my stay whether that be on arrival, breakfast time and at dinner/tea were really friendly and helpful.
The food at the hotel was really good and so good I ate at the hotel both nights.
The room was a decent size for a single room and had everything I needed.
Overall definitely a place I will be coming back again and would recommend to anyone

The location was good for us to visit family in Wakefield. The room had everything we needed. Although directly above the bar and bar noise could be heard it soon quietened down allowing for a good night's sleep. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Parking was good too.

good , friendly and helpful, only one night this time, the two ladies at breakfast always cheery and a laugh. Will stay again next time we're visiting. thanks

Wow absolutely beautiful afternoon for my parents 40th Ruby Wedding Anniversary. We booked the private back room and had use of the courtyard out the back too. We arrived for drinks around 12pm, ate from 2pm and left around 5pm. We had such a lovely afternoon with all the Family. We ate from the Sunday Lunch menu. 3 courses was £30 and it was the freshest salmon & prawn cocktail starter, the nicest turkey sunday dinner I've ever eaten and the fudge cake was to die for. Staff were fantastic. I'll be back for my 40th Birthday next year. 10/10 ❤️

Close to motorway but in a nice quiet spot, with plenty of character.
Breakfast included and great value.
Lovely room, very modern bathroom.
Really friendly staff.
Plenty of parking.
