Friendly, efficient and helpful staff, quiet room, comfortable bed and easy access to room. Drink prices very good compared to London with very friendly and good atmosphere in the bar.
Breakfast only had a limited choice of what to eat. No full English breakfast was available (even with a surcharge) and no choice of how eggs are cooked.
Really nice pub with excellent food and service. Clean and comfortable room with breakfast included. Lovely people and stay!
Have stayed in several similar places within a 6 mile radius, over the last 18months and this is by far the best. The restaurant is always booked because the gastropub style food is excellent. They may be booked up but have always squeezed me in to eat. The staff are all super friendly and the owner knows a fair bit about wine. The rooms vary in size but have everything you need. I've stayed here 8 to 10 times and now use this as my home from home when I'm on business in the area.
Have stayed here several times and food is always exceptional... gastropub style. Restaurant always seems fully booked but they've always found me somewhere to sit and eat. Staff are all super friendly and warm. The owner has a good knowledge of wines and a nice selection. Have stayed in several other similar price range places within a 6 mile radius and this is by far the best.

Nice food , friendly staff, lovely cosy interior, good parking.
Booked two rooms for our one night stay unfortunately they were in different locations which was not really what we expected so made things a tad difficult especially after they were booked well in advance , the bath in one of the rooms had a mark in bath and tiles around the bath needed regrouting.Breakfast was really early so for a Sunday a little surprised, no full English but sausage and bacon still offered so found that a little unusual 🤷only needed eggs to complete anyway 🤔

Our 4th visit over several years: we love the always delicious evening menu and the buzz of locals enjoying themselves in the bar. The staff are professional, friendly, and hard working.

We stayed in a standard double which was absolutely fine except for the lack of a shelf or hook in the shower room to put stuff.
Everything was excellent. Good service, room was nice and clean.
