Very nice facility and comfortable
Theming of property is exceptional. Restaurant layout could be better, and music in restaurant was not appropriate for the theming of the property. Bartender poured heavy, and menu was not well diversified to accommodate lactose allergies.
The hotel was completely overrun by soccer tournament children whose parents were either MIA, or gathered together in the lobby visiting / drinking. Front desk staff were overwhelmed, as was the facility. Pool and fitness areas were full of un and under supervised children well into the evening, and several of these kids were running around throughout the hotel well into the night.
Hotel management needs to be more present, engaged, protective of the staff / property, and take additional action to hold parents more accountable for their children.

We enjoyed the Hudson Restaurant. We had daily breakfast, one dinner and three happy hours. Very good value overall. The delux king was nice but the mattress was a problem.
The mattress and the "elephant" living above us on the 4th floor. This was particularly annoying since we had stayed in room 436 just two weeks prior and had specifically requested the same room fearing that noise from a lower level might cause an issue. So it is obvious that special requests are not factored into room assignment by the front desk staff.
Very beautiful lodge. Our room and bed were very comfortable. The staff at reception were very friendly.
Dinner at Hudson's Restaurant was excellent.
Fitness equipment was old and several pieces were out of order.
We requested a quiet room at check-in and were given a room on the 4th floor but we could still hear the loud music from the wedding reception going on below us. If it hadn't been for that I would have given the place a 10.
The hotel itself has a nice aesthetic. The hallways and common areas are well maintained. It is very convenient to have a good restaurant in the lobby with a full bar.
The room was outdated and very sparse. But the worst part was the bed and bedding. The beds are old and uncomfortable with minimal covers. The sheets were threadbare, there was a blanket from the 1970’s on the bed covered in two threadbare sheets. The bottom sheet was on top of a very old mattress protector that barely laid on top of the mattress was rough and wrinkled, providing a very uncomfortable sheet to sleep on.
