Worn down in need of updates and cleaner
Pros:

The breakfast.

Cons:

How to get into the property parking lot. The room was a bit worn and old. Also the bathroom was not as clean as it should have been.

Wouldn’t rebook with this hotel
Pros:

When we first arrived, we had returned back to our room to notice that there was a bunch of insects flying around on the ceiling. We spent about 10 minutes waking them with wet hand towels and thought that was the end of it. Then, the next morning after getting out of the shower and going to open up the curtains all the way to see outside and let light in, we discovered that the entire windowsill was covered in hundreds more. It was disturbing! They sent in house keeping to kill them and clean them out. At which that point I was informed that the window seals were old and sometimes the bugs are just getting through and that the establishment wasn’t doing anything because they were waiting for their remodel in January. Housekeeping sent maintenance up to spray around the windows to deter more insects from getting in. The hotel was full, so changing rooms was not an option either. Also, during our second night stay, we were woken in the middle of the night by a loud beeping/chirping noise that sounded like some kind of alarm like possibly a carbon oxide detector or something but after it stopped we couldn’t tell where or what it even came from . It didn’t happen again after though.

Cons:

Old property, old carpet and decor,

Other than the car alarm, the stay was great.
Pros:

Accommodations are spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel is located near the downtown area where there are plenty of good eating options and beautiful walking trails along the lake.

Cons:

The alarm on someone's car started going off around 8:00 pm. After about 20 minutes, I asked the front desk if there was anyway to contact the owner. Since they don't get the license plate of people staying, they didn't know who owned the car. The clerk showed little concern or interest in solving the issue. I suggested she call the police and see if they could run the license to find out who owned it. The car did turn off but started again around 3:00. The hotel should take license plate numbers to address future issues like this.

Great staff
Pros:

I had a special request to minimize steps because of a hip replacement and they did an exceptional job with the placement of our room. It was very much appreciated.
