It was ok not as good as the last couple of times we have stayed
Pros:

It was ok in the middle of town and close to family who we where visiting. We have stayed here several times.

Cons:

Our room was 102 up on the top floor up some stairs that were a bit steep and uneven not good for an older person. Like me. Would member to asked for a different room if we stay again.

Stayed 6 nights at the George comfortable basket chair lounge a nice bar which had a variety of beer
Pros:

Lovely big bedroom with walk in shower comfortable king bed clean room serviced to a high standard Good breakfast and good pub food

Cons:

It would be nice to have the toast served separately and not buttered on your breakfast plate

Good sized room. Cental location .

Cons:

The Breakfast were quite basic. Yogurt was only available on one day of three .The cups and saucers didn't match and looked quite old and cracked. Traffic noises from early .

Lovely stay
Pros:

Great hotel in the heart of Axminster. The room was lovely and there was plenty of refreshments. The bathroom was a nice size and the bed was comfortable
The breakfast was lovely. Would definitely recommend a visit

Cons:

The narrow staircase (that cannot be changed) if you are staying in rooms 101 or 201 (We have stayed in both) it's a steep staircase so if booking ask for the other bedrooms if you have a preference..

Ambiente war gut, spezielle Einrichtung. Bett hatte grosse Decke

Cons:

Die Fenster waren irgendwie Deko. Ob offen oder geschlossen hat man die Autos genau so laut wargenommen. Hatten Zimmer auf die Strassenseite und ab 5:30 ging es mit Verkehr los, sehr laut.
