Location, parking, breakfast, staff
No toiletries in the shower, just a tiny bar of soap, don't know if they should be shower gel
The staff were incredibly helpful, polite and friendly.
The staff made the place amazing!
The food was delicious and general atmosphere of the pub was warm and welcoming.
The room was comfortable and big enough for me.
More of a recommendation: make the pictures on the breakfast menu match the food you serve.
Friendly staff, comfortable bed, good shower
Very noisy with traffic. Noises all night from room above so unable to sleep
Friendly and lively place.
Nothing.
Lovely clean rooms with tea and coffee facilities. Bed was very comfortable walking distance to the town.
Rhe rooms could be noisy ftom the traffic.
Lovely hotel, good food, bar and great staff.
Pillows were very hard. There was a fair bit of noise from outside (not the hotels fault) as Costa was restocking in the early house.
Good menu for evening meal
Traffic noise
Lovely pub, very clean, nice room, decent value, most staff really friendly and helpful - check in and breakfast staff excellent.
Noise at night was an issue. Costa Coffee across the road got its noisy supplies delivery at 1am.
Most staff really friendly but girl behind the bar on Friday evening was unwelcoming and miserable - local customer even asked her about it. Had one drink and left the bar, she is costing you sales.
The room was a great size and lovely.
The location was great and it had an interesting history.
The only 2 things I would suggest could do with improvement was the available parking. A couple of times I had to pay for parking until some of those using bar at the hotel moved.
They could also do with changing the menu during the week. Otherwise it was a wonderful hotel.

Room was fine, excellent shower, decent breakfast. Friendly staff.
The wifi was pants, hard to log on and then my wife and I both kept getting chucked out.
Needs addressing!
Great location, which was as an overnight stop-over on our trip from London to St Ives, Cornwall. Nice 'local' pub feel. Small, tight car park, but managed to get a space all the same. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast, with a choice of options. Decent size bathroom and shower. Good value for money overall.
No air con and just a small fan supplied - inadequate in the current heatwave. The fan appeared to be on its last legs as it was too noisy to have switched on overnight. This meant having the window opened overnight, and subsequently we were woken up early due the pesky seagulls and early-morning delivery trucks!
Great location
Brilliant

Excellent place to stay. Will return

Breakfast was good. Room was clean & dinner good value with gf options.
Location was noisy as its right in the middle of a one way road system. Staircase very steep to get to room 101. For the price I expected a higher standard of furnishings and decor.
It’s a hotel in the town where I lived for ages staff were helpful
The stairs mean it’s not suitable for disabled people. Unfortunately it’s changed hands and after a terrible meal on the first night we ate elsewhere and just had simple breakfast at the property . The room needed attention
