Check-in was easy. Facilities were nice and clean. I was glad there was the air fan. Staff seemed friendly when I was leaving.
It did not bother me much, but one should be aware that it is a local pub as well so there might be some tipsy or drunk people around the bar at night.
The staff were so helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed the room, although small, it was comfortable and very clean.
I would have liked an explanation of how to use the codes as i didn't understand and ended up ringing someone from outside but they were lovely so it didn't really matter!

The breakfast was excellent, well cooked and served promptly, and the morning team were particularly lovely, friendly and engaged. The bathroom was clean, and the door codes made getting in and out very straightforward. The location is around a 20–25 minute walk from the city centre, which worked well for me. I also really appreciated the TV, which had a great range of on-demand and catch-up options alongside live TV, something you don’t always find in hotels.
Unfortunately, the main issue was the cleanliness of the bed. I stayed in a twin room and, on the made bed, found two unpleasant stains on the bed sheet, one of which appeared to be bodily fluid. I was genuinely horrified to discover this when I returned from my night out. I appreciate that I should perhaps have checked the bed more carefully when I arrived, but this is something I would reasonably expect housekeeping to identify before a room is made available to a guest.

Great location. Up the hill from the main beach and shops but not a problem. Easy access to The Glen and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.

Bathroom a bit dated. Water in Bath slow to drain. No working extracted fan.

All exactly as described. Location good, street parking fine. Would stay again if in the area. Staff chatty, friendly and down to earth. Impressed with Cardiff, people are open and friendly, great city. Worth a visit.
