Rooms nicely decorated & clean. Staff were friendly. Was able to park for free on street outside
Everything was perfect. The customer care service was flawless and, most of all, the room was extremely clean, quiet and comfortable. Ultra perfect for a few days stay!
Extremely clean, spacious rooms, comfortable beds and easy self check in. Would definitely consider staying again if I return to Cardiff in the future.
The rooms are above a pub which means that it could be very loud on a weekend. I stayed on a weekday and I could hear the noise from the pub until closing time. However, once the pub closed at 10.30pm, it was extremely quiet and I slept really well. Something to bear in mind incase you are planning to book on a Friday or Saturday night.

Barrio residencial tranquilo. Encima de un PUB. Totalmente insonorizado y eso que era un fin de semana. No se escuchaba nada del local de abajo. No tuve interacción propietarios. Salvo tomarme una cerveza en el Pub de abajo de su propiedad. Señora muy amable y agradable. Comunicación de claves antes de llegada perfecta, sin ningún tipo problema. El castillo está a unos 20 minutos andando. Por una calle llena de comercios y pubs. Ambiente agradable y gente sana. Me sentí seguro en todo momento. A diez minutos andando está la estación de tren de QUEEN STREET. En cuatro minutos se llega a la bahía. En cuanto a alrededores a 5 minutos andando hay tiendas y autobuses que comunican con zona castillo. No recuerdo si era habitación individual o matrimonio. Contaba 7 enchufes. En el cuarto de baño había dos enchufes de clavija formato europeo un detalle por su parte, pues no necesitas adaptador.

Very easy access to the room with clear instructions. The room was simple, but clean and comfortable with an ensuite bathroom. Only 20min walking to the center and with stores and places nearby for food.

Great shower, good wifi, attentive checking in details, an excellent stay even down to the high quality toilet paper.
You don’t have to walk the bar to get to your room, plus it was clean and spacious.
Avoid. Unless you like being treated disrespectfully and spoken to in a degrading manner.
The room itself is clean and spacious, however the sound proofing is absolutely terrible, you will hear everything from the bar in the evening if you are anywhere near the main stairs like I was. You will also hear everything from your neighbouring rooms. Which is where my problem came in. My last night of my stay, I was trying to rest and relax, knowing I had a long drive the next day. To which during the evening I could hear everyone’s conversation at the bar and the several animal noises. Once the bar closed, that noise went however then my neighbouring room started playing their TV ridiculously loud.
On the information sheet it says to keep noise down at night and to ring this number with any complaints, queries or issues. To which I did.
The woman (who I believe to be the manager) spoke to me incredibly dismissively and disrespectfully after I explained the situation, in an argumentative and condescending manner. She did not help the situation at all and made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. I ended up having to put toilet paper in my ears to block the noise to even try and get any kind of sleep.
Because of this I ended up going home the next morning early, because of my tiredness and just wanting to get some actual sleep. I have complained via booking.com, to which the manager then messaged me via text. Not apologising for her rudeness, the fact that I left early or that I did not get any decent sleep all she had to say was “We acknowledge that we try our best at all times. The staff will be dissapointed .Regards Crofts Hotel” if trying their best is talking to a customer the way they spoke to me, I hate to think what their worst is.
The area as well doesn’t feel particularly safe or welcoming, I was quite worried for the safety of my car parked infront of the hotel.
Wish I stayed absolutely anywhere else now.
