Great location. Up the hill from the main beach and shops but not a problem. Easy access to The Glen and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.
Easy allocated parking.
Good size for a small family. We were 3 (including a 17 year old). Good TV streaming options.
Bathroom a bit dated. Water in Bath slow to drain. No working extracted fan.
Overall clean, but floor in lounge/diner area not properly cleaned. Some under-cupboard lights not working in kitchen.
One of the single beds, mattress has failed so chance if rolling off.
All exactly as described. Location good, street parking fine. Would stay again if in the area. Staff chatty, friendly and down to earth. Impressed with Cardiff, people are open and friendly, great city. Worth a visit.
The pub/hotel is situated at the end of a quiet leafy lane but also within walking distance of about 6/8 mins off the bustling City Road which has a wonderful bus service . The No 9 bus will take you into Cardiff City Centre within 10 mins and even further into Cardiff Bay and the Sports Village and the other way towards Roath Park and Heath Hospital. My room was modern and spotless. with a good easy to regulate en suite shower and all the usual tea and coffee facilities plus TV.The bedding was pristine and both the pillows and duvet were very comfortable. Although this is also a public house I heard no noise whatsoever to disturb a good night's sleep. For Snooker enthusiasts there is a games room just off the public bar. The staff were so friendly I felt very welcome from the word go. The entry system to the hotel and rooms is also very secure.
The carpet as you enter the hotel side entrance has seen better days.

Great location for a night out in Cardiff, at a good price.
It wasn’t obvious where to check in on arrival, and I only found out I needed to pre-book the breakfast in the morning, so wasn’t able to get any. The information was in the room, but it would have been nice to have been asked by the staff on arrival as I had a quick turnaround to head out and meet people so didn’t read the info till it was too late.
Cleanliness, comfortable bed, clean and nice bathroom, good location in a pleasant residential area. Good for my needs.
Some noise from the pub downstairs, no air conditioning, although a fan was provided

Liked the room it was great the shower was awesome there was plenty of coffee supplied. Staff were friendly and the beer was great in the bar.

Nothing, as described. It is above a locals pub which might not be everyone's cup of tea
For a single traveler I found the room absolutey perfect. Perfectly new and modern, so simple but so nice ok not in a great part of town but no problem as a single person the room would be my go to room. Because of the ease of everything in the room.
