Pros:

The price is good in HIlton head island. They prepare everything you need in your room. The whole inn looks very old and the main building is closed. But the room is spacious and clean. No other facilities.

Cons:

The room key card was easily deactivated when kept near a cellphone, so we had to get it reprogrammed several times.The elevator is very old, and the "Close Door" button is broken. Be careful not to press the alarm button by mistake.

Pros:

Price and location. The cleanliness was actually decent. This is the hotel you would expect for this price at this good location.

Cons:

Room was not well sealed and required a constantly running dehumidifier to remain usable. The bathroom and towels were perfumed with a hanging lavender potpourri so they all had that smell. The reason was clear when I removed it: the excessive moisture in the room caused the bathroom to smell musty.

Exceptionally clean and unusually terrific guest appreciation
Pros:

Housekeeping staff should be commended. My room was absolutely spotless! The room also had everything I could expect, all in working order. The amount of fruit, donuts, and other complimentary snacks available to guests is very generous. Consider taking advantage of the early checkout which returns $25 to the guest for checking out prior to 8:00 a.m. Lastly, Mina is a very generous and competent general manager. I highly recommend Simple Rewards Inn.

MIna Bhakta the general manager was quite the joker! Very easy to deal with and a pleasant person overall. Liked the early bird leaving the site before 8am rebate with actual cash back. Was so impressed I stayed there again on my return trip back home. Well maintained, very clean rooms each time rivals any 4-5 star rooms I've stayed in. Comfortable and very quiet so was able to get a good nights rest before the long haul back to home.
