The Banquet Hall Food was a total disaster, the food was half cooked, no seasoning, we paid thousands of dollars, and everyone was complaining about the food, no one really ate the food, it was all horrible, we had 130 family members from over 9 different states, and the Detroit committee was embarrassed
Great location, immaculate rooms, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful views, delish food, great valet service, and always well taken care of
All the staff members I interacted with were very nice, friendly, and welcoming. I would have given the hotel a 10/10 if there had been daily room cleaning. Other than that, everything was perfect. My family and I truly enjoyed our stay, and the hotel’s central downtown location was definitely a plus. Overall, we had a wonderful experience!
The front desk worker's are so so so nice and perfect and all of the needs to be fired for treating our so good we had our family reunion there we had a ball in the hotel.Workers are so nice and pleasant.They all need to be fired for doing a dam good job while we were there and the lady's that clean the room did a wonderful job when ever I come back to Detroit this is my new hotel I will always be staying at thank you to the great staff at fort poncentrain
The patio was perfect after a long day at the festival to just sit have a drink, feel the night air. While listening to good music.
That the hotel double charged me paid thru booking up front not to have this issue only to look at my account and they have pulled and are pulling more out my account
Very convenient location to walk to events in the area, staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. Could use a vent in the bathroom. That's really all that would have made the stay more enjoyable .
Had a wonderful stay and will stay again on our next visit to downtown Detroit. Excellent experience and staff. Highly recommend and have told friends and family to stay here if they are planning a stay downtown.
Central and nice people
It’s a bit old place, but clean. A bit expensive .
I didn’t hear the rooms next to me, beds comfy, and walking distance from a lot downtown
Our shower was very clogged, I could hear doors slamming all early morning, paying for parking the price is very high compared to other hotels, ice wasn’t on our floor, our view sucked being on a low floor, and I called lost and found about a key and have yet to hear back.
