Beautiful view from my room, but wished more came with the stay such as breakfast/restaurant discounts

Bathroom floors and shower floors were uncomfortable to step on. I also feel that upcharging everything including breakfast when a guest has spent $500 per night is alittle tacky. The Staff was very kind tho

Overall, very pleased with my stay. Only a few quirky things I would like changed.
Pros:

Rooms were quite nice and heating/cooling worked/functioned exceptionally better than other hotels I've stayed in. Also, switched controlled blackout blinds were a huge plus.

Cons:

No complimentary coffee in lobby. Restroom sizes between two adjacent "equal" rooms was significantly different. Restroom doors had frosted glass inset into the door, so if you were with someone other than immediate family it would be quite awkward.

Pros:

The location is great and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
The room was very spacious with a day bed and a small table. This was great for having a takeout dinner.
We were able to keep our luggage there when we checked out to further explore the city without our luggage.

Comfortable, convenient city view in Detroit
Pros:

This hotel is a bit old judging from its architecture but was a great place to stay. Very clean and comfortable with wonderful views of the city and the river. Centrally located with many places in walking distance. The river walk was great too.

Cons:

I really have no complaints especially with the terrific desk staff who helped sort though a booking problem. My thanks to Coco and Theresa for their assistance!
