Riverview is Paradise
Pros:

I loved the location! A short to walk to everything Southport!!!

Cons:

If I had to write something I feel like the beach area may need to have more lighting at night but it was so peaceful!

Beautiful location, immaculately clean rooms, private beach
Pros:

The rooms were very nice, extremely clean.
Private beach where you can swim( water was clean), beautiful lighted pier and pool. outside area, was a large deck with family sized tables and chairs.... steps from your room.
Avaliable grills near the deck area.
Deff could take some steaks out there, use the grill and sit on the deck area. Eat your dinner while waterside.
Beautiful views of the water.

Almost all rooms offer small balconies with view of the water.

Very close to lots of restaurants, parks, shops.
Like a 5 min drive or a 15 min walk.

Very quite location.

A deff must if your staying in southport.

Cons:

The view from my balcony could have been closer to the water.
It says river view, when booking.

Next time I gotta choose a room closer to the water, a better view !!

Pros:

Everything was clean. I love having the ferry nearby. The hotel was not a chain hotel and still had a pool, dock, and small beach area that was nice to relax.

We really enjoy our stay. The cleaning staff also arranged our son’s stuffed animals on the bed which was a nice surpris

We enjoyed our stay so much that we are trying to plan our next visit.
Pros:

The room was beautiful. The bathroom was so big—and the shower was awesome! The whole area was clean and the pool was enjoyable.

Cons:

In the advertisement for the property it made it sound like every room had a view of the water. However, the original room we were assigned would have been facing the parking lot and bushes. However, the nice lady at check-in found a room in the same building that showed a bit of the water. Other than that, all was great.

R&R with a hint of sea life!
Pros:

Super peaceful, near the beach (not for swimming) and had alot of outdoor space to sit listen to the waves, chillax on the porch or chat with other hotel guests on the lighted patio.

Cons:

The 2nd building did not have a working elevator so maybe bit hard with luggage and kid(s), no laundry room but otherwise I had a great stay, and will book again.
