Pros:

The places was new and clean. The pool was noce and the view was amazing. The pier was amazing and the little beach with chairs was very relaxing.

Cons:

The only thuing I did not like was the elevators. Even though it was a short 2 story ride the elevators where not Air conditioned and it was heat index of 107 outside and the 60 sec ride was like a sauna.

This was so convenient to everything ! Yet quiet at night, we had a great weekend stay

River Hotel of Southport is an excellent choice!
Pros:

It was a lovely, clean room with a beautiful view of the Cape Fear river. We got to watch dolphins playing in the water early one morning, Spectacular! Southport is a great little town just a few blocks from the hotel with great food and shopping. Lots of cuisines and pubs to choose from.

Pros:

When checked in and entered the room was hit with the musty smell of mold and mildew. Within an hour was beginning an allergy attack that has lasted for one week and required medical attention. So much for a getaway weekend. The room was otherwise clean but very minimally appointed. Location on the river was nice but view from the room very limited. Doubt we’ll return.

Zaciszny, wygodny i czysty hotel przy brzegu
Pros:

Ładny hotel tuż przy brzegu, w zacisznym miejscu, z własną plażą, basenem i molem. Apartament bardzo przestronny, wygodny, bardzo czysty, aneks kuchenny świetnie wyposażony. Łóżka bardzo wygodne. Przyjechaliśmy późno, po godzinach pracy recepcji, instrukcja zameldowania dokładna i czytelna. Personel uprzejmy i pomocny. Na terenie hotelu automat z napojami i wszystkim, czego możesz potrzebować lub zapomnieć w takim miejscu. Duży parking.

Pros:

The location is excellent. Within walking distance to Downtown. We stayed for the annual 4th of July festival and we loved it. You could see the fireworks display so well from the hotel's river beach front. The cleaning staff were so pleasant and helpful when we needed help. I'd recommend staying here even with small children. As mine are 6 and 2.

Cons:

I wasn't thrilled that there wasn't a washer or dryer on the property that guests could use. I had to find a laundromat further away from town to wash our clothes. Other than the inconvenience of that, our stay was pleasant.
