Not bad, but could be better
Pros:

The staff were amazing and so delightful to deal with. The layout was of the hotel was practical and it is very good for conferences and large gatherings.

Cons:

I woke up with back pain every night. The beds were old and I was in pain for the rest of the day both nights as a result. The hotel itself was a bit antiquated and it was not very close to many places via walking which is a huge thing for me, as I walk more than I drive.

Most enjoyable overnight stay
Pros:

Very comfy bed, great airport shuttle service, the nice man even helped us with our bags which I didn’t expect.

As expected. Overall happy for price.
Pros:

Easy check in check out. On site parking. Good size beds.

Cons:

Bathroom was below average. Shower was small, and water ran strait under door on to main bathroom floor as drain was slower that water. Ironing board and iron was fiddly and leaked.

It's a shame that the staff's amazing hospitality is overpowered by the facility's maintenance issue
Pros:

Staff was friendly and helpful! Proximity to the airport and few minutes drive away from CBD. Heating works well, however it might be a concern during summer seasons as there's no AC.

Cons:

The interior is noticeably worn and in need of maintenance. The doorknobs are faded, the walls and windows' paint are chipped, and the hallway floors creak and occasionally dip, suggesting that some areas of the flooring require repair. In our room, the toilet seat appeared eroded and discolored which made it look dirty, and the bottom of the shower curtain was dark and stained, which gave the bathroom an unclean appearance. There were no elevators to the 2nd floor, luckily we didn't have big suitcases during this trip. There was also a musky old room scent where we stayed at. The shower head in our room was neck level and I'm 5'7 in height, so if you're a tall person you might struggle.

Great will visit when next in wellington
Pros:

Receptionist was so helpful, lovely and so respectful. Shes the best receptionist weve ever encountered over 20yrs. Pricing was great. Room was large and clean. Very quiet as well with a great shuttle bus service to the airport. Will visit again when we are next in Wellington. Many 😊

Cons:

As it was a cool night, the heater was under efficient for the size of the room.

Great location but info is key
Pros:

The location was perfect as we were attending a sports tournament in Kilbernie.

Cons:

We had brought a sandwich press which the hotel confiscated. This was frustrating as there was nothing that indicating we couldn't use it. Whilst we had no issue with the reasoning, it would have been good to have this advised within booking conditions.
