The food was amazing and the staff were very helpful
The location was ideal for exploring Cheddar. The room was clean and very comfortable. The shower was fantastic. The food was excellent and great value for money. The staff were friendly and very helpful nothing was too much trouble
The only negative was there wasn’t a plug near either mirror for the hair dryer
Location and ample parking
Noisy rooms, banging doors and road noise. Dated rooms showing heavy wear/use.
Everything
Nothing
The breakfast was really good, cooked on demand which makes a change from other places we have stayed at. The Dinner was really tasty as had the chicken thighs in honey and mustard sauce.
The bed was really comfortable.
The Bath Arms is situated on a busy road. As the Arms does not have double glazing, because it being a listed building, the noise from the road during the night was quite noticeable and sitting out on the patio in front off the entrance.
Ample parking and walking distance to Cheddar Gorge. Decent cook to order breakfast
On the main road of Cheddar village and all rooms except one facing the road. If you’re a light sleeper like myself, it can be tricky to get a good night sleep. The property offers earplugs is a telling.
The property is a pub and restaurant. Noises from a birthday party downstairs travel upwards.
It’s rated as 4*. However there isn’t a swimming pool. I’ve always thought that a 4* hotel differentiates having a pool to a 3*.
Bath Arm can be rated as a very good 3* hotel but doesn’t have the facilities that a 4* offers.
No shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom but extra handwashing liquid soap.
Staff
Manager Murray was very professional and helpful whist being very approachable
Food was in no way pub grub but very good value
Lovely traditional property.
Great location.
Perfect location, plenty of parking. Boutique and comfortable.
Nothing
Mostly all good.
We had to move rooms because , unfortunately the bath tap broke off. New room had broken bedside lamp.
The manager and all the staff
Were very nice
There nothing I diddent like
Great location. Great staff. Fabulous food.
Room a bit dated. We were unlucky with noisy person in neighbouring room who was chatting until 11.30pm (old building, thin walls). Dinner was fabulous but shame the bar was very busy and noisy. Luckily the food did make up for that.
The room and bathroom were a really good size, it was clean and we asked for extra pillows, nothing was too much trouble. The staff was amazing, and the freebies you get in your room every day was a lovely touch.
There was nothing we didn’t like, it is an excellent hotel, the food was amazing and will definitely stay there again.
I loved the age of the property and the decorations, it felt like a really special place.
The bed was slightly uncomfortable on my back.
