We would DEFINITELY stay here again!
Pros:

My husband and I booked this hotel based on the photo on their website. It is on the waterfront and we like to photograph, so we enjoyed being on the balcony and photographing the boats, tugs, and barges, coming up and down the river, but also the trains crossing the river and alongside the hotel. The sunsets and sunrises were beautiful. Our room was delightful and very comfortable, and the staff was very welcoming. The location is incredible with the waterfront park. We so enjoyed walking along the boardwalk and especially thought the amenities for families such as picnic areas, benches, planted flowers, playground areas for children, and the "local history photographs" on steps was amazing! We ate at the Boathouse next door and had their Happy Hour Menu and then ate again for dinner the next day. It was excellent. (Separate review) Overall, our stay was so much fun!!

Fool me thrice....
Pros:

This was the third time I stayed here and it wasn't as good as the first. I enjoy the location and safe feeling in the area. During my first stay they gave a welcome gift of bottled water and chocolates, and a goodbye gift bag of candy, which I thought was a thoughtful touch. On my second visit, I noticed that every guest checking in around me was offered the welcome gift, while it was not offered to me. I had to ask for it. On this most recent stay, I again had to ask for the welcome gift (same employee as last time) and there was no goodbye gift at all.

Cleanliness was issue this time. All 4 glasses in my room where absolutely disgusting! There were some random hairs on the bedding and in the bathroom.

But the last straw for me was one day when I came back to the hotel, I used the side door, which I saw a lot of people use. I heard an employee behind the counter whisper something to another staff member, "she came in the side door...." The employee then proceeded to come out to the elevator and stand there watching me until I got in a used my key card. This wouldn’t have bothered me if it appeared to be standard security protocol, but it clearly wasn’t applied to other guests—only to me. I won’t speculate on the reasons, but the situation made me uncomfortable. As a result, I’ve cancelled my July reservation and will be trying a different hotel in Coquitlam next time.

A lovely, comfortable place in a great location for a getaway weekend. Plenty to do in walking distance as well!
Pros:

Great location. Love the boardwalk right outside. Nice views. Having The Boathouse restaurant connected to the hotel is a big plus, amazing food!

Cons:

Only one comfortable chair in room, would be nice to have something other than the desk chair for the second person. Water pressure in shower is terrible.

Dreamy girls weekend getaway!
Pros:

We spent a lovely girls weekend at the Inn at the Quay! We used their wonderful robes, the hot tub, went for fabulous meals all within walking distance (Piva, Angelina’s & Craft Cafe)! We lounged, slept in, and loved the included wine glasses in the rooms! A perfect staycation getaway!

Nice view. The cleaning staff did a great job providing a good clean room.
