As we have had enjoyable stays before I am sure we will stay again
Pros:

Arundel is attractive and as a consequence we haive stayed at the Norfolk Arms Hotel several times. which surely is an endorsement for the place!. We like the charming old building and the attractive and comfortable rooms available, though this time, because of late booking, we had to settle for a small room.

Cons:

No particular dislikes

Comfortable, clean accommodation.
Pros:

Location was great, the town centre is on the doorstep and everything was within walking distance.

Cons:

The car park was not designed for modern sized vehicles. The room was very warm and the only way to cool it was to leave windows open. To be expected with an old building, which was full of character.

Rooms could have been a little cheaper for the style of it. A little outdated . No restaurant for evening meal in Septem

The location was great. In the centre of town.

Cons:

The room wasn’t quite what I was expecting for the money. From the pictures I was expecting a bit more luxurious . Breakfast was too expensive so we just went to a local cafe. A mini fridge would have been nice. No restaurant for September

Great location. Comfortable rooms.
Pros:

The property is a wonderfully charming and characteristic place. You get a real sense of history. The rooms are comfortable. I had a superior suite on one day and a single room on the other. Both were roomy and very comfortable. The location is perfect for visiting Arundel. If you are coming for cricket the walk is 10 mins to the Castle ground (albeit uphill!). There are loads of restaurants and cafes within 100m of the hotel.

Cons:

Being hyper critical - the property is a bit tired in places. But it is 300 years old and it all adds to the charm.

Good Location.Slept Well.Disappointed with overall appearance of interiors and lack of some amenitie

Location Excellent

Court Room although basic and tired,did allow for a quiet nights sleep at least.

Cons:

Lack of main hotel restaurant not open until Autumn.
Tired worn interior’s and carpets that needed a respectful refurbishment in keeping with the age and history of the building.
Lack of proper bar area to sit and relax with a drink,snug bar never had a member of staff there and was not appealing at all unlike the sitting area which had what looked a makeover but was a meaningless area that no one used!! Lack of enough staff plus young inexperienced staff in Tap Room that at times were overwhelmed!.
Also constant reminders of penalty charges by the Hotel.
Late check in times!! Some Reception staff off handed.
Room serviced inconsistent.

Very nice weekend away with my elderly mother
Pros:

Staff need to speak up and be more helpful and a smile would be nice

Cons:

Male member of staff came to help with tv and he also served breakfast, no personality, quite snobby not good in any way , he acted like he was doing us a favour not good for the hotels
