It is a great location in Gangnam. The staff were very attentive and most importantly, the room is clean and maintained well.

Great location. Aesthetics and vibe on point. Cafe was great near lobby. Staff were attentive. However, the first room we booked into had a smell issue from powder room’s toilet, and the relocated room’s master shower drain was clogged and water pooled after shower and had to ask for housekeeping to clean in the day after. Even if it’s all Gessi hardware and marble top, what matters is the working order and hygiene. The WORST part however was the noise control. No soundproofing. I I could hear the water running from someone showering next door for 20-30 minutes, in such a loud echoey way that I have never experienced before in a hotel room. The early morning noises from the hallway were also very loud; our room was right across from the storage room for linens and such, and could hear the door clanking to close and the cart rolling from early hours and on. Apparently, lack of soundproofing is an issue w this hotel. Great location - a bunch of tourist favorite shops and clinics and restaurants all around. Room service was also great. Just wouldn’t be back for the noise issues.

The exceptional service from beginning to end. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had among 4-5 star Hyatt and Hilton properties. The quality, variety, and presentation were exceptional, which was comparable to the breakfasts at some luxury resorts in Bora Bora that we've been to. I look forward to staying here again.

The location is great, staff is super friendly, the rooms are clean, and they give you the CUTEST slippers! I would definitely recommend if you are looking for that little curated detailed stay in Seoul.

One of the things I always appreciate most about staying in Korea is the unique warmth and hospitality that is difficult to find anywhere else in the world. Andaz Seoul Gangnam captures that feeling beautifully.

Hotel 이란 잠을 자는 곳 이상을 제공할 수 있다. 그것을 Hospitality라고 하는데, 마음을 따뜻하게 살펴주는 서비스를 말하는 이 단어는 Andaz팀이 내게 다시 의미를 느끼게 해주었다. 각 나라마다 문화와 언어가 달라도 그 마음을 살펴주는 제스처는 감동을 준다.

아침, 저녁식사 언제든지 나를 기다리던 정말 있는 음식들, 심지어 룸서비스조차 최고의 퀄리티였고 배달해 주는 모든 분들의 친절도 잊지 못한다.

Their kindness was reflected throughout the entire front desk team, including Ellie Gil, Kyle, Kelvin, and Sunny, as well as the spa receptionist, Donghee, and all the other staff members. I am also deeply grateful to Ms. Kyung-shin Oh in the sauna, who quietly and consistently looked after guests with such warmth and dedication.

The food was always excellent, whether at breakfast or dinner. It felt as though every meal was prepared with care and waiting just for me. Even the room service was of the highest quality, and I will not forget the kindness of everyone who delivered it.

The hotel is in an exceptional location, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. What truly made our stay memorable was the friendly and attentive staff. Everyone was welcoming, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. Their outstanding hospitality made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

stayed here for family trip. Have stayed in the past and continue to be impressed by the staff and location. The hotel seems to get even more popular than before and it could get VERY hectic (popular by Western tourists as well as locals) but things are managed better than expected.

Swimming pool is pretty impressive given where the hotel is situated (i can imagine the lot is pretty challenging to build a hotel let alone pool) and my family thoroughly enjoyed it (also amazing that they are open super late).

2 small issues- 1) bath tub in Andaz suite bath tub drain stopper is very easy to be activated (just a button) and during bath, I had water drained multiple times accidentally
2) spa / sauna has no clock anywhere so it was difficult to thoroughly enjoy (especially since I'm not allowed to have my phone with me in spa).

as globalist, it's always difficult to choose between GH and Andaz Seoul but my recent experience is that Andaz simply is a better hotel location/ value wise. would stay here again.

We've enjoyed staying at other Hyatt hotels, but Andaz was especially impressive for its prime location and exceptional breakfast buffet. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and the service was excellent. Every request was handled promptly, and we were very satisfied with our stay. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We truly appreciate their excellent service.

Beautiful hotel with excellent amenities. The customer service was on the mark and never felt stuffy. The breakfast buffet was the best I’ve ever had. I cannot wait to return.

I had an excellent stay at Andaz Seoul Gangnam. I applied a Guest of Honor award for this stay and received complimentary breakfast, which was a great benefit—the breakfast was very enjoyable and a nice way to start each day.

The hotel’s location is superb. Subway Line 3 is just outside the hotel, and it is also within walking distance of many restaurants, cafés, and shops in the Apgujeong area. It made getting around Seoul very convenient.

I also used the sauna and gym during my stay, and both worked very well. The room was quite spacious, especially considering the hotel’s central location. Throughout my stay, the staff were helpful, professional, and welcoming.

Overall, I really had nothing to complain about. This was a very comfortable and convenient stay, and I would happily return.

The Andaz Seoul is a nice property overshadowed by it's lack of hospitality and attention to detail. As a frequent traveler, I try to keep to myself and not ask much from service, provided they stay consistent.
From the start, I had $100 Hotel Collection credit that the reservation desk neve informed me of nor where I could spend it so I had to ask the front desk later and was given different answers.
Secondly, housekeeping has no attention to detail. They removed one of the two robes without replacing it, did not provide a shower floor towel nor (consistent) waters at turndown. The way the room is set up, there is a small bathroom with a sink and a shower with a main sink next to it.
Apparently each room is equipped with only one hand soap so you have to go to the toilet sink to wash your hands instead of the main sink. The thermostat also goes out to 18.5 C but it doesn't go below 21C and it took two days for it to hit that temperature. It was extremely hot the first night.
In addition, when I asked the valet for a taxi, they told me to go inside and ask the front desk for one.
I would say the service is similar to a Hyatt Place but the hotel itself is more on par with an Marriott Autograph collection.
The buffet is very strong and has quite the selection.
I do not recommend staying at this hotel if you prefer higher level of service and attention to detail.
