A fantastic visit in every aspect!
Pros:

Absolutely fantastic hotel! Traveled with family and it has amazing food in the lounge and breakfast buffet. It’s spectacular all the way around. I travel internationally a lot and this is a great hotel.

Pros:

I found the room spacious, well furnished and the bed particularly comfortable.

Dublin is a city with character for its music, rich history, strong literature culture and so on.
Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were super friendly and welcoming.

Cons:

The only minor issue was the hand shower which sprayed quite strongly and caused water to flow into the rest of the bathroom.

Pros:

Die Nähe zum Zentrum in einer guten Gegend der Stadt. Viele Lokale fußläufig zu erreichen. Frische Blumen in den allgemeinen Bereichen und freundliches Personal. Sehr geräumiges Zimmer mit sehr guter Ausstattung.

Cons:

Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche war recht schwach.

Convenience to city cemtre and Dart.
Exceptionally efficient and personable staff, not normal nowadays in a central hotel. The hotel had a warmth.

Cons:

We liked everything although we didn't eat evening meals as we had them pre-booked elsewhere.

Ireland with friends
Pros:

I took a trip to Ireland with my brother and a couple friends. The Mespil Hotel was a great place to spend our last night before we flew out. The staff was friendly and helpful, the parking was convenient and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I will very likely stay here again.l

Good option in Dublin
Pros:

We stayed at the Mespil while in Dublin for a work meeting (that was about 15min walking away). Clean, quiet rooms that darkened well. Refrigerator in room and coffee maker. I'd say this was a fairly stereotypical European city hotel and good for that niche - not a character-filled B&B like we had elsewhere in Ireland. Breakfast (included) was solid and plentiful on the buffet. Good eating options nearby (try Bloom!). We could walk to Trinity College and shopping. Staff were helpful. Hotel prices in Dublin are outrageous but this was a good option compared to some other choices the meeting listed (which were double or more the cost!).

Another great stay
Pros:

A return visit to the Mespil hotel, this time with friends. On arrival a very warm welcome, here you immediately feel valued as a guest. We were accommodated with lovely quiet rooms next to each other towards the back of the hotel.
Comfortable, clean rooms with all amenities. Well stocked hospitality tray and plentiful Rituals range toiletries.
Great breakfast range, both hot and cold buffet style, also freshly cooked items to order. Every morning was a great way to start our day, along with the friendly efficient staff who looked after us.
The hotel caters for both tourists and business guests. It is so well placed for both walking to the centre and using public transport, buses are regular within yards of the hotel. Recommend a leap card for trams buses and DART
Have no hesitation in recommending this great hotel,consistently offering an excellent standard of service and accommodation.
