Pros:

When I checked in, the receptionist asked me to pay an additional USD 50 because I arrived two hours before the official check-in time. Considering that I was already paying USD 250 per night for a room that normally costs around USD 150 per night, I found this request unreasonable.

Fortunately, her colleague was much more understanding and kindly allowed me to check in without any extra charge.

Great Place to Stay
Pros:

Great location on New Haven and a short walk from main train station. Lovely friendly staff. Goodl big comfortable room and good shower. Good AC also. Hotel was clean and in great conditon.

Cons:

Other guests were a bit noisy due to number of room doors being very close to each other at the end of corridors but not a massive deal.

Lobby area was nice and staff very friendly

Cons:

The rooms weren’t very clean. Things had a “sticky” feel to them. The shower ran hot and cold.

Pros:

Close to the downtown area and parking was convenient for a city hotel. The bridge going from the garage to the hotel was super helpful especially having our dog with us.

Cons:

We stayed with our dog and were put on the 7th floor which made it more inconvenient to take her outside. Also not the hotels fault obviously, but there is no grass outside of the hotel so we had to walk a few blocks down for our dog to relieve herself.

Great hotel!
Pros:

This was our first time n New Haven. The hotel is very nice. Check in was super easy thanks to the amazing Stephanie L!! She got us checked in early as we came into town earlier than expected, she asked us if it was our first time here, and was extremely hospitable and friendly. She was a wonderful first impression of our experience at the New Haven Hotel. The rooms were comfortable and super clean. Would highly recommend!!
