Cama era muito mole, nao tinha chuveiro no quarto (só banheira) e a localização deixa a desejar, nao tem muitos restaurantes perto.

Cons:

When we arrived the garden outside the rooms that was the focal point of our stay was under renovation which we were not told about. We went to the front desk to stat that we were very unhappy that the reason we booked was for the rice plants outside our window. They graciously upgraded us the rest of our stay was fantastic. Compliments to all the staff as well as the chefs. What great food.

Perfect Villa
Pros:

Stayed at The Menzel for 3 nights in total — one night in the basic room and two nights in the Garden Private Plunge Pool room. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. We were given vouchers for lunch, wine, and dinner, and since we were hungry after arriving, we decided to eat there that evening. I had the crispy duck and honestly, it was one of the best meals I’ve had.

We also received some lovely welcome treats, which was a really nice touch. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had little to no pests during our stay. The private plunge pool was definitely a highlight too.

The hotel also helped organise tours for us. We originally planned to do a waterfall tour, but due to the weather one of the more popular waterfalls was closed. Our guide adapted the itinerary so well and ended up giving us a really personalised experience instead — including a different waterfall, a coffee plantation, and a temple visit.

The location was perfect for what I wanted: peaceful and away from the busy town centre, but still very easy to get a Grab into town whenever needed. It’s not really walkable to the centre, but that wasn’t an issue for us. I’d definitely stay here again.

I want to come back and stay

Een accommodatie die op zich oké is, maar tegenviel qua hygiëne, locatie en een momenteel kale/modderige omgeving

Het hotel ziet er op het eerste gezicht mooi uit en heeft een prima sfeer.

Cons:

De schoonmaak en hygiëne waren helaas wat minder, en ook de locatie vonden we niet optimaal. Daarnaast was de groenteplantage recentelijk gedaan, wat zorgde voor een nogal kale en modderige indruk rondom de accommodatie.

Pros:

The main area of the hotel where the Pool and restaurant are located are really nice. Staff was always supportive and very kind. Food was very good.

Cons:

We had a villa and could strongly hear our neighbours. We lost money and strongly recommend to use the safety box. When the incident was reported, they took it very serious.
