Loved everything but the smoke in room and the crappy shower head
Pros:

Good meals, pool and room

Cons:

The showers weren’t wall mounted and sat in the holder at knee level. To shower you had to stand in the bath and manually hold the shower head above your head so you could only wash with one hand. Also our rooms balcony was directly above where the kitchen staff would have their smoke breaks below and we could smell the smoke in our room because there was a gap in the sliding door.

Mejor imposible
Pros:

Lo que más nos gustó del hotel fue donde estaba situado. Es precioso recorrer los arrozales. La habitación era perfecta y a la noche no se escucha más que la selva. Los desayunos estaban genial y los empleados del hotel era gente súper amable.

La verdad es que todo nos gustó.

Établissement génial ! Le cadre top ! Je suis arrivé le jour de mon anniversaire, ils m’ont offert un gâteau le soir même en surprise.
Les chambres sont top et le personnel aussi !

Relaxing, peaceful and lovely staff
Pros:

Peaceful location with beautiful gardens.
The room was very comfortable and clean with an amazing view over the gardens of the property

Cons:

The only negative thing I can say is the pools were very cold so not good for a relaxing swim only a cold plunge if you’re into that

Pros:

Os funcionários de uma gentileza e simpatia extremas ; bom pequeno almoço e comida bem confecionada . Boa piscina infinita.

Cons:

O nosso quarto era muito húmido e a cheirar a mofo, era sempre preciso o AC ligado ( o quarto era em baixo), pouca luz.
Cortinas estragadas em cima, tecidos velhos a precisar de reforma.

Parfait, je recommande, nous avions une chambre avec petite piscine.
Pros:

Personnel aux petits soins, très souriant. Emplacement très calme au milieu des rizières et pas très loin en scooter du centre d’Ubud

Cons:

Les clients irrespectueux qui hurlent en passant devant les habitations à 7:00 am mais l’hotel n’y peut rien

Menzel Villa Ubud is nothing short of paradise. My husband and I stayed here for our 10th wedding anniversary, and from the moment we arrived we were surrounded by peace, beauty, and genuine Balinese hospitality. The resort is incredibly romantic, with stunning rice terrace views, beautifully maintained grounds, and a tranquil atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and unwind.

The staff were exceptional throughout our stay. Every member of the front office and restaurant team was warm, attentive, and welcoming, making us feel truly valued as guests.

One of the highlights of our trip was the Romantic Dinner package. It was worth every Rupiah. We enjoyed a private dining experience in the rice terraces surrounded by candles and flowers, creating an unforgettable setting for our anniversary celebration. The food was outstanding, with each course better than the last, and the service was impeccable.

I was also treated to the Holistic Spa Package, which was pure luxury from start to finish. It was one of the most relaxing and indulgent spa experiences I have ever had. Every detail of our stay exceeded expectations, and we left with wonderful memories that we will cherish forever.

Cons:

Honestly, very little. As with any property set within lush tropical rice fields, there are naturally insects and wildlife around, but this is part of the authentic Bali experience and was not an issue for us. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Superbe séjour, très agréable, un bon compromis entre hôtel et logement plus intimiste
Pros:

La villa était très confortable, la vue et la disposition autour de la rizière est agréable et reposante. Tout était très propre. Le personnel est adorable et nous avons bien mangé au restaurant.

Cons:

La piscine de la villa était vraiment froide et peu d’exposition au soleil (mais l’exposition varie selon les villas)
