Zafiro Palace Andratx

Plenty of pools. Pool side service was great. Food was excellent in all restaurants, including the buffet restaurant. Room was spacious and luxurious.

This hotel provides everything for a relaxing and fulfilling time. The whole complex is beautiful with flowers and shrubs and immaculately kept. The staff are all friendly yet unobtrusive, everyone from front of house through to the cleaners. The food and drinks are top class, every meal carefully planned and beautifully balanced and presented. The drinks are plentiful and refreshing. We love it here - we have already booked to return for the fourth time!

Our second time visiting and wasn’t disappointed rooms are super clean and spacious with a well designed bathroom and walk in wardrobe
Balconies are spacious and have either a Whirlpool bath on the balcony or a separate plunge pool on the roof/Ground floor
Staff are excellent and managed to play Golf on the course which wraps itself around the hotel
Food is brilliant from Breakfast to all the individual restaurants

We have stayed at the Zafiro Palace Andratx on many occasions since they opened in 2021 and have always had a fantastic experience. The staff are extremely attentive and are always chatty and helpful. The rooms are fantastic with really comfy beds and great furnishings, and these along with the remainder of the hotel are cleaned to an extremely high standard. The Reception staff are absolutely brilliant and will go out of their way to help you with any queries or requests. We keep returning every year as it is our favourite hotel on the Island.

The views are truly amazing from the elevated position of the Zafiro Palace.
We had a view of the golf course straight ahead and a side sea view. The room was in a nice quiet location, exactly what we wanted.
The room was clean and spacious with a large walk in shower and double sinks. The balcony is a good size with comfy sun loungers to one side and a jacuzzi bath to the other. There are various different pools to choose from, all with the most comfortable sun loungers you could ever wish for, including the Bali beds too. The staff around the pool area come around for you to order drinks or food. Maybe they could walk around a bit more often, but they are really nice and friendly at all times.
The A La Carte restaurants were all individually designed and the staff went above and beyond to please you. The food not only tasted good, but the presentation was also impeccable.
My only criticism would be, it was very quiet when we went, so a little background music would have been nice to create a little more of an atmosphere in the three restaurants that are next to each other. The Italian had a pianist which was absolutely perfect!
We enjoyed the breakfasts in the buffet restaurant each morning, but the one evening we ate in that restaurant the main meal was a little disappointing. Although, the desserts were delicious!
June is early in the season still to visit, but the entertainment in the evening finished very early in my opinion. We didn’t eat until around 8pm, so by the time we had our 3 course meal and went to the bar the singer was ready to finish. We only managed to watch them for around 15-20 minutes. I think they should go on until at least 11-11.15pm.
The beach is a 10 minute walk downhill, it’s a small sandy bay with a few shops within the vicinity. Obviously, a slight incline on the way back.
The cleanliness of this hotel is second to none. Definitely a luxurious experience. If you want a relaxing break, this hotel would be great choice.

We are a retired couple and stayed at the Zafiro Palace Andratx from 30th May to 6th June. This is a first class hotel which provided everything we were looking for. Check in was efficient and very helpful. our room in Block 4 was spacious, immaculate and with a full view of Camp De Mar bay. A huge bed, great bathroom and shower and a welcome mini bar added to the experience. The hotel is extremely well- maintained and clean throughout and the staff team are a credit to Zafiro. We ate at all the A la Carte restaurants during our stay (our favourite was La Veranda Italian, although each was superb). The food throughout was delicious with wide choice and very well cooked and presented. This included the buffet restaurant which provided breakfasts to dream of and great choice and quality at dinner. Try to get to the Asian theme night - you'll see what we mean. We stayed on an All Inclusive basis and this proved great value. Wines were excellent and drinks at the Blue Lounge were great (try the Negroni Porto). All the pools were clean and food could be ordered direct to your sunbeds. The Blue Lounge provides music and a singer most evenings to add to the atmosphere. The hotel maintains a more quiet atmosphere than some others, but this adds to the overall charm. The whole staff are friendly and helpful, and definitely work together as a team. By no means least, the views from the hotel are memorable, and sunsets from the Blue Lounge are a must-see. We will certainly be returning to this hotel.

ROOMS
The rooms are all absolutely immaculate. You will get fresh pool towels daily and if you leave any other towels on the floor in the bathroom, these will be replaced with new.
Cleaning is done between 9:00 - 15:00 with the mini bar being replenished shortly after
There is a turn down service that we didn't opt for but happened anyway each night around 19:30 when we were out for dinner
You are provided with shampoo, conditioner and body wash and I thought they were good quality even without outrageously curly hair!
The AC is a lifesaver especially throughout the night. We kept this on constantly and the room stayed lovely and cool
There is a TV with a good few English channels (One, ITV, Netflix) and the TV can be pulled out to face the bed if needs be
All rooms and their views look wonderful in all honesty. I have seen a lot of people panicking about room selection but the hotel is gorgeous regardless of where you are put (in my opinion)
You will have a beach bag to use whilst you are on holiday, a steamer, safe and laundry service if you need. There is also PLENTY of hangers and wardrobe space!
Room service is also included as part of the AI. Any drinks that aren't included, it is very clearly stated. When ordering it will initially show a charge but as long as you are AI, you will receive confirmation of your bill when your food arrives to confirm €0.00.

BUFFET/RESTAURANTS
The breakfast buffet is fantastic where the is the normal eggs, bacon, beans etc, but then salads, cold meats/cheese/fish, an omelette station, crepe station, fresh avocado on toast, porridge and yogurts/overnights oats, pastries and so much fresh fruit. You can also book in at La Veranda for a served breakfast if you don't fancy the buffet.
We gravitated to having lunch at the poolside as you can see in some of the pictures, however lunch is available at The Market or La Veranda without reservation
For dinner, if you download the app you can check out what is on at The Market each night under allergy information. You can also book La Veranda, Mare Nostrem, Sushi or the Steakhouse. We only booked the first two and cannot wait to try the other two next year. The portions are not stingy and a lot of time people we choosing starter, main, a salad to share and dessert etc.
I'm not too sure what it is like in the busier months but we had no issues booking reservations when we got there. If there is a restaurant you really want to visit at a specific time, definitely reach out to the hotel to book this in advance.
This is not the standard AI buffet, everything is constantly fresh and being replenished so you aren't seeing food stacked on top of eachother that has been sitting there for hours.
Wine, Spirits and Beer are served in all restaurants for lunch and dinner. La Veranda does serve cocktails. Wine can be ordered via the glass or bottle and is all clearly labelled as AI or at a charge.
After dinner you sign your bill before you leave just to confirm what you have had and so you are aware of any charges (if you have ordered anything not included in the AI)

POOLS
The pools are open from 10:00 - 18:00
Sunbeds were available all day and there were always plenty of areas to choose from
The pools are a little chilly but once you are in, it is completely fine and is a welcome cool down with the heat
You can leave your pool towels on your sunbeds at the end of the day and these will be collected up. You will have fresh pool towels in your room.

TRANSPORT
We got a private transfer to and from the airport and I would always recommend this as the traffic can be a bit of a nightmare. We used Salty Driver Mallorca but it also have been recommended to use PMI Mallorca.
We got the bus into Port Andratx and for a return t was approximately £4, and a 12 minute journey. The buses were quiet, air conditioned and under a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The bus (101) drops you right at the Port.

STAFF / SERVICE
The staff really do go above and beyond. They work so hard every day and the service we received from everyone was out of this world and really made the holiday feel that little bit more special. They took the time to converse and check in etc but not in an overbearing way. They provide so much information about the hotel and handy tips too so you don't feel overwhelmed when you first arrive.

We loved our stay at Zafiro Palace Andratx. The 5-star all-inclusive experience was exceptional. Although there were plenty of restaurants to choose from throughout the hotel, the buffet restaurant was outstanding, with delicious food and a great variety of options. There were numerous pools to enjoy, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and luxurious. We especially loved having our own private plunge pool. The staff were courteous, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. We would happily return and highly recommend this hotel.

Nice and clean facilities, spacious rooms with large terrace and plunge pool. Main restaurant breakfast buffet is extraordinarily good with incredible selection. Food is the other restaurants is poor quality and feels like something you would get at an all inclusive resort.

A bit of a mixed bag really!
We booked as two friends in a Junior Suite with Private Pool and Zafiro Club Service - All Inclusive Plus

On arrival we were not greeted into reception, nor helped into the hotel with our luggage. We were asked to pay the hotel tax and our cases were taken to our rooms for us. It was dark and we were tired, but we weren't offered any kind of tour, even to say where to go for breakfast the next morning.

There was a fruit platter in our room on arrival.

The following morning it became clear that the Club amenities weren't in our room, so we had to ask. We also had the "wrong coloured towels" left in our room, so when we went to use the Club pool we were questioned as to which room we were in. It was supposed to be a luxury holiday, upgraded to club and I didn't expect it to be such a disappointing arrival and forst day!

Then we went to try to book our included massages, yet they were all booked up! They told us we should have booked before we travelled. We didn't know what our activities or meal times would be before we arrived, so thought this was a bit strange. A la Cartes were also very booked up when we arrived, so if you are going try and download the app and book these in advance.

The food was amazing, however this hotel is NOT allergy aware in any way for people with Shellfish allergies, I can't comment for other allergies. Despite making the hotel aware there was nowhere to find out what the theme in the buffet restaurant was that evening, so we obliviously turned up to seafood night! Shellfish and crustacians everywhere! We didn't have am a la carte booking that evening and were made to feel like an inconvenience on quietly explaining our predicament. We were marched out of the restaurant and told to go the the italian and that they were get us a table there. When we got there, they had no idea we were coming! This was basically the theme for the rest of the stay with regards to help with allergies!

The grounds are lovely, the food we could eat was very nice.

The room was very clean and well stocked once we got the correct amenities for our room class. However we had requested twin beds, all the did was put two duvets on the bed folded over. Good job we are close friends ! It didn't really bother us, but it was just something else to add to the little issues we had all week, which became a big long list!

The hotel arranged a traditional boat trip! Do not book it for the price they charge!!!! We didn't get any snacks and only got offered water when we needed to rinse our mouths when we tried the snorkel gear and it was filthy. The views and the boat trip were amazing, but for the price we were charged I expected all the things that were advertised with the trip! I did bring this up with the hotel, but even though they booked it for us, they said they couldn't help.

We didn't go out on any other trips after the boat trip,where we were dropped off at the wrong location and had a long walk to the boat. On our last day we did get a taxi to the town nearby for some souvenirs, which was a nice quaint place with some nice cafes.

Also don't expect any farewell gift! It is actually just a soap bag that is left on your bed when you actually arrive!

All in all mixed feelings. Reception staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. Allergy awareness is dangerous. Private pool in the outdoor space of our room was like an ice box, but perhaps would be better in the middle of high season.
The food we could eat was very good. The views from the buffet restaurant were fabulous. The complex was nice and clean and the sun loungers were cleaned daily.

There was supposed to be drinks service to your bed at the club pool, but this didn't happen either, the drinks however were very good and with premium spirits.

The feedback from the hotel when I brought all the issues to their attention was not really taken on board while we were there. Afterwards I got an email reply with a non apology, but I offered a very small gesture of goodwill (£150.00) in comparison to the almost £4000 we paid for 5 days stay. Plus the 760 Euros for the terrible service on the boat trip! The hotel did say in my email that
"we would be happy to offer a more personalised pre-arrival planning service and assist in ensuring that all your preferences and requirements are met from the start"
To be honest this should have been done for all guests in the first instance, let alone ones that pay extra for "club class"

Loved this hotel! Our room was beautiful, spacious with plenty of storage. The bed was very comfortable and housekeeping excellent. The staff working here are very friendly and work extremely hard at what they do. The rooms are within different blocks, which makes the place feel spacious and spread out. There are a lot of steps as the hotel is built on a hill, but we quite liked that for helping burn off some of those extra holiday calories we consumed!
The choice of pools was really good, although we spent most of our time at the adult pool. The great thing about the pools were how there wasn’t really a culture of racing to reserve a sunbed with your towel each morning! Even though we were there during the busy May half term, we were always able to get a cabana or two sun loungers together, at any time of day.
The buffet breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice. We ate in the hotel restaurant a couple of times in the evening and found the food and drink to be reasonably priced (for a hotel). There were some local restaurants within walking distance and lots of other places you could go via the local bus service or taxi.
We caught the bus into Palma one evening, which was very efficient and good value. Be aware this can be very busy if you want to go first thing in the morning though.
We would stay here again, without question.

Really amazing stay for a Family with a 16 month old. Facilities were brilliant, room was great. Toddler loved it, plan to come back next year!

All inclusive redefined on

the decline. Market buffet at lunch the first time, tapas in the Market the second and closed for lunch the third. Two options at lunch what I can only describe as snack/junk food on your sunbed around the pool or limited menu at the Veranda restaurant

Just returned from a fantastic stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and were always friendly, helpful, and attentive.

We had a private pool room which was great and nice to be able to return to later in the day. We went all inclusive, which we wouldn’t normally choose, but the food was exceptional with plenty of choice and great quality every day. We would definitely recommend it.

We are a couple and although I’d usually prefer adults only there was enough quiet spaces to enjoy.

Camp de Mar is also fairly quiet, which suited us perfectly, there are a few restaurants within walking distance but there are lots of restaurants and bars just a five-minute taxi ride away if you want to go out and eat.

Our family fully enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The food was exceptional, staff were very friendly and always happy to help and our room with private pool was lovely. The main pool and sky pool were both fab although we preferred the latter as the water seemed warmer and drinks service was much speedier. We were pleasantly surprised how accommodating the hotel was of our baby - plenty of high chairs in the restaurants and parasols round the pool, with a separate baby/toddler pool area too. One minor point was that we didn’t find anywhere away from the pool where there was shade to spend time outside with our baby apart from mealtimes. Even the playground was nearly entirely in the sun for the majority of the day. However, this certainly didn’t spoil our time away and would love to return for another visit.
